We hired Dawn for my parents 50th wedding anniversary party that was Hawaiian themed. It was an intimate gathering with 10 people but they made it feel like we were at a big event. The fire dancing was exciting and very entertaining and Dawn’s dances were beautiful and authentic. She told the stories behind the dances and even taught some of us how to do them. They were on time, friendly and very professional. It was truly an amazing experience and I would highly recommend them for your next event.

I wanted to send my brother and sister something special for their birthdays which happen to be 10 years apart on the same day. My brother turned 70 and my sister 60. So my husband and I sent each of them a Hulagram. That was over a week ago, and they are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. They said Dawn danced beautifully and was such a kind person. My sister in law said my brother hasn't smiled that much in years and that he actually blushed a little. He told me it made him feel so special. I booked Dawn pretty much last minute for our son’s 40th birthday, wanting her to show up at his work at 4:30. In a nutshell, he wound up leaving EARLY and was gone when she arrived. Ugh. Not only did she agree to then go to his apt but then when she arrived he was nowhere to be found even though I had called him to make sure he would stay home for a “birthday present delivery”. She called me again to see if I could reach him. When I couldn’t and told her ‘never mind, I will pay u anyway’ she wouldn’t hear of it and insisted that she look for his car in the parking lot.
Finally, she went to the apt and banged on the door only to find he had snoozed out on the couch.
Dawn is a sweet and awesome person and went WAAAAY beyond the call of duty to deliver his greeting. Also, she did a FABULOUS job of performing! She was on time, did everything right and ... what can I say ... just HIRE HER!!! Thanks, Dawn. You are worth your weight in gold.

I had a Hawaiian Luau "themed" barbecue which had over 50 guests. Today, two (2) days later, my guest are still talking about how wonderful Dawn's performances/dancing were. Dawn even stood at my door for 30 mins as I requested and did the traditional Lei custom of placing on necks. My guests were in awe with that as well. Dawn was on time as arranged and my guests participated and enjoyed the dancing. If there was only one thing I would change with Dawn and that would have been booking her for a longer period of time. Dawn joined us for BBQ dinner at our church luau. Later, she changed into traditional Hawaiian costumes to perform her dances....first a Tahitian Dance with music that had the whole room engaged. Then she asked for volunteers to learn the dance...and up they came...kids of 9 and adults of 75+ and the preacher too. All thoroughly enjoyed this dance and looked forward to the Hula (as she left to change costumes). I thought that the Hula, with her story-telling hands and "instruments" she added, was wonderful. I didn't think she would get volunteers again to learn the Hula steps (and then do it with the music) but they came up...the former ones and More! Dawn ended her dance program with all wanting More. It was a fun evening and she added so much to our Luau. We had the room all decorated with fresh Pineapples and tiki lanterns and leis for all...but it was the dancing that just made the evening. Thank you, Dawn.

I was hosting a small (20 people) indoor Polynesian party/luau in January, and knew that I wanted to make it something special by having a Hawaiian/Polynesian dance performance. After reading Dawn's website and reviews, I knew that she was the real deal. She regularly keeps up to date on the newest and most exotic dances by continually training with a crew in Hawaii, and it shows. She even has her own custom music, which was recorded specifically for her.

Her crew can be hired for larger or smaller events, or even for a full luau show. That means if you want a full blown Polynesian Revue that covers dance styles found all throughout the pacific, they can do it! Fire Dancers, Tahitian headdresses, classic hula, they do it all. Basically, if you've ever seen a Luau show in Hawaii, or at a place like the Mai Kai in Fort Lauderdale, that is the quality of performance that you can expect from Dawn and her team.

She's also a great and prompt communicator - and I was very happy with how professional and dedicated she is. After my first web inquiry, we had a call shortly after to discuss the needs of the event, and to cater the dance selection and experience to the flow of what was needed.

I would absolutely ask Dawn to be involved in any future events that I hold.

Dawn has actually performed at our museum several times. She first performed at the Sandy Springs Festival in 2018, and then reached out to me to get involved with some of our children's programming. We asked Dawn to perform at our American Girl and Boy Club in November, which celebrated the Nanea doll. Our program teaches history and culture through crafts and activities, so we wanted to bring a live Nanea to the museum. Dawn was amazing! As a previous review notes, she actually studies her art in Hawaii and then brings her Hula to us mainlanders on the east coast. She performed several different hulas' for the kids, before teaching them one of their own, and allowing them to play her instruments. In addition to all that, she was Incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii, Hula, and even the holidays in Hawaii as this was our annual holiday party. She even brought Surfer Santa to perform and meet the kids at no additional charge for us. She’s very professional and very easy to work with. She even stayed around extra time to take pictures with the kids! If you want a great experience with someone who knows Hula, hire Dawn, we can't stop raving about her!

I hired Dawn to perform at my mother’s 70th birthday party. My mom was born and raised in Oahu and a lot of my Hawaiian family now lives in Georgia. So we wanted to bring a little bit of the islands to Georgia. Dawn was great! She studies her art in Hawaii and then brings her Hula to us mainlanders on the east coast. The Georgia International Horse Park hired Dawn for the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival, an annual cultural festival that touts friendship between all countries. We never had Tahitian representation before, and Dawn did not disappoint! She was communicative prior to the date, punctual, full of energy, and a real pro on the stage. She brought an assistant and two young dancers to give our festival audience a variety traditional dances as well as instruction, and had several beautiful costume changes. It was one of the most engaging acts we had, with delightful storytelling dance movements that really captured the essence of its origin. It was a cold day at outdoor event (unfortunate since the day prior at the event was in the 70s), and Dawn and her dance companions braved the chilly temperatures without complaint. Dawn was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to bring her back at a future date. A tremendous thank you for the performance, and for your above board congenial attitude, Dawn!!

Dawn performed a half hour show for our neighborhood diners group. We had a luau theme dinner, and she performed several numbers, created the guest with leis, posed for photos and even taught a short hula class for our guest which was really fun and the guest really enjoyed it. Dawn also brought a fire act who twirled fire sticks and balls and ate fire while she danced, which was really a beautiful sight. We really enjoyed working with Dawn planning the event and she is very professional and a joy to work with. We will be booking her again later this summer for another event.

We thoroughly enjoyed Dawn's hula and Polynesian dance presentation. She was very well received by the residents and their families. She explained the cultural history of the cultural dances and her unique difference in her costumes. She engaged the participants by teaching a small group of them a hula dance, introduced herself to each one of the residents, posed for photos, and remained afterwards to answer questions. Her interaction with all the participants was very tender with this senior adult group.

She is so graceful and mesmerizing to watch. What we really enjoyed with her being so knowledgeable about her craft and sharing with us the type of dance she was going to perform. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, but my twin granddaughters says I am the best for the booking. They called several times to thank me. They said they had the best time and the girl attendees were elated(boys weren't interested). The adults were so amazed, which gave me cool grandma points. My daughter in law said she would book you for her adult events. So, on a scale of 1 - 10, you were an 11.
