From the first song to the last and everything in between! Wayne and Mike are amazing, kind and very talented. I could not have asked for a better play list! A little something for ALL my guests and they had us engaged and entertained the whole time.
There is just something about live music that makes the party more fun and the guests more in to it. Would definitely recommend.
Response from Days of Vinyl - Live Music and Entertainment:
Thank you so much David! We had a wonderful time and it was an absolute pleasure to play for all of you. The kids dancing just made our night.
WOW!!! Days of Vinyl provided amazing entertainment at my son's Bar Mitzvah Party for 4 energetic hours! Days of Vinyl have extraordinary talent and the ability to play a variety of songs in every genre and across decades. My relatives and friends loved them! Michael Mullis, the lead singer, not only sings, but entertains the kids with fun games! THANK YOU DAYS OF VINYL FOR THE MOST ENTERTAINING AND MEMORABLE BAR MITZVAH PARTY EVER!!!
Party guests lined up to get the band's business card after Days of Vinyl played its final set at my husband's surprise birthday party last night. The two - man rock band had the crowd dancing in the aisles and even jumping the stage to get closer to musicians Mike and Wayne. They make big music for only two performers, with high quality amps and lighting and a playlist that spans decades yet keeps up with the newest releases. Mike also handles all emcee duties, even serving as game show host during our 60s trivia match between millennials and baby boomers
Book them, and relax. Your only responsibility will be to accept all the compliments.
A: Hire Days of Vinyl!
We recently held a party to honor the founders of our synagogue and we hired Days of Vinyl to provide the entertainment. As you can imagine, it’s extremely difficult to keep such a diverse group of people entertained. It’s even harder to get them all on the dance floor! Days of Vinyl somehow managed to accomplish that phenomenal task. If you can imagine 90 year old seniors dancing next to 18 year old teens than you can understand how awesome this event was. Music was played from every era and enjoyed by all. Mike’s charismatic style of interacting with the audience was incredible. At the end of the party no one wanted to leave. If you want quality entertainment then Days of Vinyl is for you.
Days of Vinyl is a great group. Mike is very personable and can get the crowd involves. Would definitely hire again.
Response from Days of Vinyl - Live Music and Entertainment:
We have to say that the folks at the Severna Park Elks Lodge are wonderful people and we love entertaining them. And the Elks Lodge makes a GREAT venue for your event!
We are so glad we hired Days of Vinyl for our Lauren's Bat Mitzvah. From the beginning, they were so easy to work with. Mike worked with us in picking out the music Lauren wanted and he was able to coordinate the live music with some favorites that the she wanted to be played. The kids played games and partied the whole time. The adults enjoyed it too because of the variety of music that was played; some old, some new and a lot in between. Everyone had such a great time that we have already hired Days of Vinyl for our other Daughter’s Bat Mitzvah in November!
Mike and Wayne sound great together! They both are experienced professionals. It is a pleasure to work with them.
Response from Days of Vinyl - Live Music and Entertainment:
We feel like family when we play for St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church. They are great people and we love them.
Our group's music interests range from one extreme to the next but Days of Vinyl kept everyone entertained! Very talented, interactive and offers up a great selection. And made announcements for me so I wouldn't have to! Looking forward to having them again at our next event.
If you want to please everyone and have a great mix of old and new songs. Days of vinyl is for you. We had them at our party and we had a great time!
Mike takes requests and planned ahead (for up to date songs we wanted for the kids) to make sure everyone would be up and dancing. I would highly recommend them

From an intimate wedding reception in a small ballroom to an outdoor corporate party with a crowd of hundreds, Days of Vinyl is an event band like no other! Striking a balance of high energy, fun, and complete professionalism, we strive to make your event one that your guests remember! We fill the room with wonderful music, dance floor and stage lighting, and more!
We play a mix of everything from the 40’s until today, with a wide variety of genres, which appeals to the diversity of your guests. From rock and pop to country and Motown/R&B, we've got it all! And we can also tailor our sets to your needs. For example; a soft dinner set early, and then dance music if needed afterwards. No other band has the versatility and variety that we do!
For size and pricing we offer two live music options; DOV 3 and DOV 5. Both groups are high-energy, fun, and professional!
Days of Vinyl started as a duo that today now has both a high-energy 3-piece and 5-Piece configuration. DOV 3 includes Mike Mullis (Keyboards/Vocals), Wayne Kern (Guitar/Keyboards/Vocals), and Rosanne Zuk (Vocals), talented & accomplished singers and musicians who met playing in a Baltimore-based popular Big Band and have been performing together for years. They bring a great dynamic to our audiences.
DOV 5 adds in Michael Kellam (Bass), and Andrew Schwartz (Drums)
In late 2007, Mike's parents were having a wedding vow renewal ceremony at their house. Mike was going to play some tunes off his keyboard and laptop. But in order to do it right, he felt he needed a bigger sound, and some vocal harmony. So, he asked Wayne to join him. It took one rehearsal together to play a great set, and it impressed the crowd. So much so that one of the people in attendance wanted them to play an event they were planning. And thus, Days of Vinyl was born.
At the beginning, DOV was more of a "niche" band, catering to what you would find on actual vinyl records; mostly the 40's through the 80's. But as time has gone on, and the band is in demand for Weddings, Mitzvah parties, and events with wider age ranges, their repertoire has greatly expanded into music as recent as this past decade. Playing at venues as small as a backyard, to as large as the Baltimore Convention Center, Days of Vinyl has been rocking crowds for almost two decades!
We include our stage and dance floor lighting at no extra cost to you. Meals are not required but are appreciated.
