Doug was fantastic his interaction with the students before, during, and after was far above what we expected. He keep us entertained throughout the entire show. I would recommend everyone to book him for an entertaining and superb show. We are already talking about booking him again for a spring show.

He's funny and weaves Biblical truths into his skits (as we requested) effortlessly (okay, he probably puts a lot of effort into it; it just seems that way) ;)

It was our first time having Doug Mickan at our library, and we were extremely impressed! Very kid-friendly and really an all-around crowd pleaser. Kids and parents alike, gave great feedback after the performance. Will definitely be calling on him again!

He was here ahead of time and brought his own sound system. We have Pre-K and Kindergarten students who were engaged and laughing the whole show.

We loved this show! Doug did such an amazing job and it was great entertainment for our kids ages 1-12 years. They laughed, clapped, and participated with the characters of the show. It was fun and uplifting to watch! We cannot wait to have Doug back to visit our school. Thank you for a wonderful time!

He entertained both old & young in our ouddoor event. People were really enjoying his presentation. It was so nice to see the joy on their faces & hear the laughter. I was waiting to give a review, to see the local response. All I can say is thumbs up. Job well done! In our area they do not often get a chance to see a ventriloquist preformance. I really liked the messages that he was giving the crowd.

Doug was very engaging and fun to have in our building. He was very good at his craft and our staff & residents all enjoyed. We would welcome him back any time.

Doug did an amazing job at our kick-off event for a new youth ministry group that is focused on service! He kept the kids engaged and correlated the show wonderfully with the theme of service and included some excellent Bible stories. He has an amazing talent of ventriloquism and a very witty and entertaining cast of characters. If you want an event that is full of laughs mixed with great lessons book DC Mickan!

Our students could not have laughed any harder, and thoroughly enjoyed Doug's presentation! On top of that he had a wonderful message that spoke to their heart- different for each of our age groups. My teachers have raved about how much they enjoyed him, and that we MUST have him back again! Couldn't be happier with all he did!

Doug was entertaining, rolled with the surroundings around him and kept kids' attention for the full show. The Bible stories were on point and told in a way kids could understand. From the Kindergarteners to the 8th graders, he touched on the attention of everyone. I would have him out again to entertain our school.

Doug had visited our Church in June, after performing at 2 local libraries earlier that day. He provided such quality Christian entertainment that evening that we booked him for our BIG outreach event of the year...FAMILY FUN DAY. Doug not only ministered that morning to our entire Church through worship and his gift of ventriloquism, but then stayed to be the main attraction at Family Fun Day that afternoon. In our line of work, it’s hard to keep everyone’s attention for very long, but DC Mickan accomplished it. During his entire show, our individuals remained focused on what he was doing. He even included some of their comments into his show. Throughout the show, you could hear laughter and see smiling faces throughout the crowd. Thank you DC Mickan for such a great show.

Doug Mickan's show was fantastic! He was funny and his puppets were out of this world. He did a good job of relating to the audience and his show had a message which I thought was very important for the kids to hear. He was easy to work with and he was available for pictures after the show. i would high recommend him!

Doug was fantastic in his presentation, showmanship and how he related to the audience. Our group loved the possum and how it related to one of our members. His presentation was captivating and he performed well even with a large group of children dancing around in front of the platform. The story plot was easy to follow and and he easily engaged the whole room. We would bring him back without hesitation. Well done Doug.

Our preschool children really enjoyed the show from Doug. Lots of laugh had by all! After the show I saw children in the classrooms playing with our puppets something they don't always do, it was fun to see that. Great messages about Jesus and the bible all while having fun.

Fall Festival

Doug was an excellent entertainer! We absolutely loved having him for our event and he was extremely nice and flexible with us. We loved his show, characters, jokes, crowd work, etc. and are looking forward to bringing him again next time! Thanks again Doug!

We were all so surprised that Doug and his animal friends came out and entertained all the kids and the adults at our Oktoberfest. He was the life of the festivities and we all laughed and had so much fun with the puppets! Thank you so much, we hope to have you at another event one day!

Doug and his "friends" entertained our students during 2 assemblies. He varied the content and length based on the age of our students. The kids loved the performances. (Even our 8th graders wanted a picture with Doug and friends!) The adults did too! I hope Doug can visit us again the next time he's in the Chicago-area!

DC Mickan did a fantastic job presenting to a small crowd for our rural town festival! He was timely and courteous as he responded to all my inquiries and requests before booking and after. The kids and parents alike in the audience were all laughing and interactive with DC Mickan and his puppets. After the performance, he even took the time to visit with several audience members which was a monumental experience for some of the children in the crowd. I highly recommend booking DC Mickan for any event!

Doug was great at communicating so we could work something out for my daycare summer camp! The kids loved him and they all were attentive to his show. The teachers had nothing but great things to say about him!

We had him at our library for a summer reading program. There were children ranging from 3-13 and they all enjoyed the show.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Doug and his friends! When booking we discussed the theme of our day camp and the whole show was personalized to our needs. Not only did he have the kids and adults laughing, but made some classic Bible stories fun and entertaining that I'm sure the kids will remember for a long time. I run a small summer camp at a school and we had DC come do his ventriloquist show. The kids had an amazing time! DC is VERY talented. I was quite impressed with his ability and he worked some Bible stories into his show also, we are a catholic organization so that was awesome! Very funny guy, we will probably hire him again!

DC Mickan not only had a great show, he stayed and visited with people afterwards and answered questions the children had. This was for a church youth group K-5th grade. I would highly recommend DC Mickan.

Doug visited our school and did two presentations. One for Early Elementary students and one for 3-12 grades. He did a great job of connecting with all the students! It was fun, funny, and also a great message! Doug also stuck around after the performances and interacted with the students.

Doug arrived right on time and was super friendly. He was extremely flexible with start and finish time. Doug's show was hilarious and completely appropriate for all ages. Would work with him and want only the best for him.

DC came for a celebration of scouting and crossing over from cub scouts to scouts. We had 90 people including around 40 kids - Laughter was heard throughout the performance.

Doug Mickan did a performance for our senior group and they thoroughly enjoyed it! We requested a performance on parables and they were funny and biblical. He’s a great musician and vocalist too! He is a very talented, Christian man.

Doug was captivating, entertaining and just a great guy. We already have him on our calendar for another event later this year! Children left the show mimicking his act, older folks left with big smiles and everyone was so happy they had seen his performance!

DC Mickan came to Ste. Genevieve County Library for Goosebump's day. He did a flawless job incorporating his puppets into our "spooky" theme. The entire crowd was roaring with laughter. His show was interactive and polished. We would absolutely love to have him back!
