Born January 11th in Lexington SC, L. Duane Williams A.K.A. Deadman A.K.A. Deadman Rashaun A.K.A. Rashaun started making music at the age of 13. A very good friend of his over heard him reading a poem out loud and he added some music to it. That's when one of the hottest mc's of all time was born. He got the name "Deadman" when he entered in a freestyle contest and he was challenged by thirty-six different mc's. He "murdered" them all. The host of the show penned him The Deadman, you know like the grim reaper the one who murders any mc that gets in his way.

When I'm on stage, you're gonna get an artist who's been there before. I've performed at the famed Koger Center, Times Square, Numerous clubs from Atlanta to Nashville to New York. I was the opening act for Masta Ace and MC Lyte to name a few. I have recorded songs with Positive K (The artist who sang the hit song "I Gotta Man'),Teen sensation Whitney Peyton, as well as performed with Grammy award winner Angie Stone. I know my way around the stage. I connect with the audience thru eye contact thru out the performance. You have to let the crowd believe they're as much apart of your show as you are. I have a wide variety of songs that range from hip hop, trap, pop, to house/edm so there's literally no place I can't perform at.

The host of the show penned him The Deadman, you know like the grim reaper the one who murders any mc that gets in his way. The name stuck and now the world will be treated to a MC with substance. He doesn't rap about the common stuff "bling bling, ice, how much paper he is stacking". He weaves stories around real events so that you can feel what he is talking about. That's why the first single off his nationwide release, Bloodmoon: Legend of the Deadman, "Bounce Wit It" is saying what you want to say. Hey DJ quit playin' the same old junk. The second national released album is Universal, which means that he is a universal artist. The first single is You Don't Want None, which means exactly that. After some obstacles as he got older he began doing business with different labels, but none of them seemed to be the right fit. He decided to start his own record label called Pro2col Records LLC, where he is an artist and the C.E.O., the rest will be penned in history. He is known over the south as one of the most influential MC's to ever grace the stage. He has appeared in four notable concerts, consecutively, including, "Artist VS Aids", and "Black History Month Concert". He has performed with artists such as, Big Daddy Kane, Master Ace, MC Lyte, Pastor Troy, DJ Taz, Raheem Da Dream, and Eric Sermon. Now, you see why The Deadman, is destine to make his mark worldwide. Now linked with Patti Barnett aka PJ Dakota, & Rokk of Rokk Mass Ent, they’ve linked a partnership with Sony/Record Union to release the new album “The devil’s Brood”. A 15 track album, with the new reggae/trap single “Elephant in the room”, which is on four different charts on billboards. The video is a must see on youtube!
Bottom line, as long as the sound is of optimum quality, the mics have no crazy feedbacks,I'm good. The lights don't need to be sun ray bright, but bright enough where the people in back can see you.
I have four different setups. Each set has 4-6 songs.
1. Traditional hip hop (for outdoor and old school venues)
2. Trap (For typical urban clubs)
3. Pop style (For typical mixed clubs & Venues)
4 Rave/House/EDM style (For colleges & Mixed clubs)
My influences are Patrice Rushin, Big Daddy Kane, The S.O.S. Band, Loose Ends, Rakim, Aleander Oniel (my favorite singer),Masta Ace, Yo-Yo, Queen Latifah, Will Smith, New Edition, Keith sweat, Jodeci, Outkast, Erykah Badu, Denzel Washington,Biz Markie, Monifah, Sunshine Anderson, Snow da Produkt, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Danica Patrick, Jermaine Dupri, Large Professor, & Big L (RIP).
