Debo

Debo express himself from a very genuine place. He provides a heart-warming, melodious rendition of original and popular songs including soul, rhythm and blues, rap, and contemporary sounds. His most sincere musical renditions come from a slow, and soulful expression of God's spiritual grace.

Periodically, he delves into inspirational tunes and loud rock music. He uses rock and inspirational music to vary his genre and tap into a different side of his personality. He also varies his genre to explore and experiment.

Jamaica native, Silbert Dyer (Debo) was born to a very talented musical family. At the age of five, he became a member of his family’s Gospel band. They enjoyed a childhood enriched by association with very gifted musicians, as well as many opportunities to entertain a variety of audiences. One of Silbert’s fondest memories include performing alongside the amazingly talented acapella band, Take 6. During Genesis, an all-night New Year’s Eve concert in downtown, Kingston, Take 6 graced the stage in one of his last concerts on the island.
At 17, Silbert left Jamaica, bound for Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in pursuit of new stomping ground. Instead of being absorbed by music, the years to follow would become consumed with a more conventional lifestyle. The US military, and college courses suddenly became his new normal.
In 2007, Silbert made the leap of faith and created his first demo. The lyrics and musical compositions were phenomenal, but he continues to explore positive association toward opening up the right doors for his craft.

Lighting - Great background lighting that puts the focus on the stage with dim (but not dark) lights throughout the room would be preferred.
Staging - A wide enough stage to accommodate instruments, electrical outlet attachments, and other musicians as required would be appreciated.
Sound - A few microphones, available power outlets and additional speakers that resonates appropriately throughout the room is preferred.
