Deep Trouble Rock Band

We are a four-piece rock band based out of Sorrento, British Columbia. In 2024, we've released two studio albums, several music videos for our original tracks, and played a number of very successful shows across British Columbia, including outdoor festivals, weddings, birthday parties and live music venues. We've developed a reputation for being a band who lives for our music, and will put on a great show even under challenging circumstances. We aim to be as versatile as possible, with a set of covers ranging from hard rock to mellow reggae, in addition to our catalogue of original songs. We are a crew of fun-loving gentlemen who will jump at the opportunity to have a good time, especially with our fans, to whom we owe our utmost gratitude. We are equipped with all the necessary gear to handle every element of our stage setup. All we need is enough floor space to accommodate us and AC power.

Deep Trouble is a Canadian rock band that blends explosive energy with lyrical depth. Drawing inspiration from a mash-up of rock, punk and disco (a sound they’ve branded “Pisco,”) their music is a powerful fusion of groove, aggression, and infectious melody. With a storied career that spans decades, frontman Deep is a seasoned songwriter and musician whose talent has resonated across the globe. From crafting memorable soundtrack scores for recognizable TV shows, to captivating audiences with his dynamic performances alongside various indie bands, his experience is vast and varied. Now, he's channeling that wealth of knowledge and passion into a fresh project, bringing together a group of vibrant young musicians to form this tight new four-piece.

As wildfires raged across BC in the summer of 2023, Deep crossed paths with dynamic drummer Ryden, instantly sensing a kindred musical connection. After a rewarding career composing soundtrack music in Los Angeles, Deep was eager to return to his roots as a songwriter and performer, and he had a wealth of original material ready to record. Ryden, seizing the moment, rallied his closest friends from his school days, Jake and Cole, to form a band. Their first rehearsal was electric, sparking a shared excitement about the group’s potential. Amid evacuation orders and threatening flames, the band adapted by setting up their music studio outdoors.

As the skies darkened and water bombers roared overhead, the band chose to embrace the elemental chaos, honing their sound in the midst of the inferno. Their first two releases, Volume 1: First Offense and Volume 2: 2nd Degree, are infused with incendiary imagery, hot licks and genre-bending sounds. The irreverent lyrics are often spawned from chance encounters or downright objectionable situations. You never know what will end up in a song! Tracks such as “Dream Boy” and “Mind Warp” mix elements of rock, electronica and rap. The thunderous “Rumble Run," inspired by the bravery of the soldiers in Ukraine, could easily be adopted as their battle anthem. “Sex Pest” and “Shake Me” ruminate about frustrating relationships, while wrapped in catchy, punk rock melodies.

As they continue to rise from the ashes of their origin, Deep Trouble debuts as a fiery force on the rock scene. This exciting collaboration blends seasoned artistry with upstart, innovative energy, promising a powerful fusion of rock influences and contemporary sounds that will redefine the genre and electrify audiences everywhere.
