Born and raised in an obscure town in South Africa, Jack Phillips devoted his life to the study of the impossible. There he shared his performances in private gatherings and theatres. He moved to New York City to study philosophy at NYU and performed in some of the city’s most prestigious venues before graduating college. Now he is a member of the cast of one of NYC’s most successful magic shows, Speakeasy Magick, and he shares his world-class performances in his shows and private events across the country. With each mystery he crafts, Jack blurs the line between fantasy and reality, inviting onlookers into a world where the impossible gracefully comes to life.

What Jack performs is not mere sleight of hand or trickery, but rather a poetry of the impossible, a dance of the improbable. His props are ordinary: playing cards, thoughts, a coin, a string, a blade. His true medium, though, is reality itself. When he is not working on his stage show, Jack can be hired to share his performances at corporate events and private gatherings of any kind. Due to the intimate nature of his work, it is recommended that he be hired to perform for groups of forty or less.
