DeEss2. (Born Aaron DeGroot) is a Recording Artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. His rough and rugged style are inspired by life tragedy and turmoil. Growing up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, he was first exposed to Hip-Hop in Middle-School during the GOLDEN AGE of Hip-Hop with the release of Dr. Dre's The Chronic 2001, Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle, Eminem's The Slim Shady LP, and 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin'.

While he gravitated to West Coast Gangster Rap in his early days, he was also into Punk Rock and the Rich Content of Underground Hip-Hop at the time with Artists like Hieroglyphics, Atmosphere, A Tribe Called Quest and Del The Funky Homosapien.

His style has been molded over the years as well by Modern Hip-Hop Artists such as Post Malone, Logic, J. Cole and Meek Mill.

More than just putting out great Music, DeEss2. seeks to produce content with meaning and his Real Life experiences and tragedy. DeEss2. knows first hand that great music can literally change and even SAVE lives.
