I hired Deja Blu at the last minute for a major event when our scheduled band backed out two weeks before our party. Liz was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. She jumped to work, assisted us in smoothing out all of the wrinkles in our planning, and had us at ease immediately. The band was Amazing. They were friendly, fun, talented, and kept us dancing and having fun until we got run out of the venue. They even covered when other performers weren't punctual. Every request was met with consummate customer service and white glove treatment. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They aren't cheesy or campy. They are fantastic musicians and vocalists who are really great to spend an evening with. We loved them so much, I've already booked them for next year. I don't know why we'd use anyone else. Please don't look anywhere else if you want a real band with mad skills. This is your band. I promise. They are worth every penny.
Deja Blu Band is hands down one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding day! Liz and the whole crew are amazing musicians and they are so great to work with! We went and watched them at one of their shows before we decided on them and the whole evening was a blast! They had everyone up and dancing the whole evening and I only hoped that my wedding reception would be the same way! Well, they exceeded any expectations that I had. The dance was the best part of the evening. Hiring a live band just adds an element to the wedding that you cannot get with a DJ. They sure do know how to put on a show and it felt like we had a private concert for the evening. Liz knows how to choose songs and make the evening flow to keep the party going!
Not only are they a great band and will make your special day one that you'll never forget, Liz is a great person to work with. Throughout the whole planning process she worked with my fiancé and I to come up with the perfect song list for us and gave us her professional insight. She worked along side all of my other vendors to make sure that our evening went perfectly and she even traveled to my venue walk through so that she would be prepared when the big day arrived!
I would absolutely recommend this band to any future bride and groom. You will not be sorry and they will blow you away with their talents! All we heard from our guests was how great the band was and how much everyone enjoyed listening to them and dancing along with the songs! They are also exactly right to call themselves a variety dance band! They were able to resonate with all of our guests and played such a wide variety of songs! Our lead singer will personally work with you to create a night that will be stress free and filled with all the songs you want to hear!
Working with you and your planner, Liz, our manager, will coordinate the music part of the night, creating a timeline that includes song selection, dances, cake cutting, breaks, toasts and any other special requests
She will then emcee the entire reception ensuring that everything goes smoothly.
We provide music during our breaks via our IPod on our PA System, so the party never stops.

Comprised of current members of the Deja Blu band, we combine acoustic and electric guitars and dive into our very favorite songs that showcase the incredible 3-4 part vocal harmonies of our musicians.
The Blu Rose is a Colorado favorite for mountain events. From Zac Brown, The Lumineers and The Eagles to John Denver, Ed Shereen, Sheryl Crow and more! Our sound is based in the era of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with a blend of acoustic and electric guitars. Drawing from Classic Rock, Pop, Motown, Acoustic Rock and Country with a sprinkle of Top 40.
We can cover a huge selection of songs. All band members sing lead and backup vocals.
The Lite Blu Trio/Quartet
Perfect for the cocktail hour and dinner. Featuring Dave Camp on sax and flute, Bill Stephens on keyboards and Byron Dudrey on bass guitar, this trio can go from contemporary and standard jazz to current hits and beyond. Add our lead female singer for our quartet.

We are independently managed and we carry liability insurance. We are not an agency nor are we affiliated with any in town. We feel that this give us the freedom to work directly with our clients and really get to know them AND allows us to keep our rates very reasonable.
We own our top of the line QSC PA system, 2 racks of professional LED lights and work with a full time sound man who will ensure that our volume meets with your approval
OUR VIDEO/AUDIO DEMOS:
All of our videos are live ~ no lip syncing, pro-tool edits or laying studio recorded audio over live video. We wanted to give you the real experience of a live wedding and show. You can hear the audience, see the fun and know what you are getting when you hire Deja Blu.
We are 100% self-contained and own our top of the line QSC PA System, two trees of professional LED lights. We also have a smaller, powered Mackie PA that can be used for a variety of things such as solo, duo performers or used for IPod music in a different location than the main PA.
We work with a full time sound man who will be there the entire night.

Every band member has been playing music and singing since they were kids. Our differences in musical tastes is what really makes the band- It's why we have such a variety of music on our play list. Jeff Engler grew up in the blues and progressive rock, Liz- Motown,soul., classical and bluegrass. Bryon is a jazz musician who can play anything. Mark is influenced by Classic Rock bands of the 70's and 80's, blues and Celtic music. Dave Camp toured for 20 years with Al Stewart and Peter White. He is a world class jazz sax and flute player.
