Overview
I’m one of the Pacific Northwest coast's most sought-after special events Host and MC! I’m a Kenyan native and a recent Seattle transplant. Whether it's a reception between two loved ones, a corporate event, auctions, product launches, Award Shows, a celebration of an amazing fiscal year, or simply a need to party. Each event will have a specific need and quirk that requires us to be well versed & prepared for. I work with & adapt to creative ideas in the planning stages as well as last-minute shifts. Clients can customize the level of energy and interaction, playlists, etc.

When you enter a room where Denis is in, it’s extremely hard to not notice him instantly due to his big and very welcoming energy. I always have a great time with him, he is very professional and he knows how to bring the ambience and make everyone around him feel comfortable and joyful! It’s very difficult not to laugh and have a good time around him, he is the best there is!

My experience was something I can’t even describe, not only I reached to him a before a big fashion show I put together, I mean the finest individuals were there at the show. With the little notice that he had, he delivered as if he’s been preparing for the show for year. The whole crowd loved everything about him, as I said the show was a high caliber fashion and beauty show with about 300 hundred people, he delivered with style, class, and elegance. He definitely should be your Emcee, he’s well equipped. He is different, he has the “it”!

Denis" Dubai" Maronga is the founder and CEO of The Kicheko Project Factory based in Seattle, Washington. Denis has worked with Nate Jackson, Mike Epps, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, DSTV, One Vibe Africa, African American Museum, Langston Hughes Performing Art Institute, Coca Cola, and Hope for Africa International.
Kenyan comedian, best known as the host (2018 – 2021) of Seattle’s most historic Black Love celebration, The USA African Princes of Comedy Tour, The Juneteenth march, and the Umoja Festival. He was also noted for his standup comedy shows, in which he often incorporated observations about growing up in Kenya, London, and Kansas.
