Derek combines musical/vocal talent with a great personality. He helped make our event a big success. Derek performed a wide range of songs, managed requests and kept the energy going all night. Also, he was very flexible on start and end times which was very helpful.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I hired Derek Stroker to play at a my husband's birthday party that we had at our home. I was on the fence if I should have live music or not, but it ended up being a game-changer! The performance added a level of energy to our event that I could never have anticipated. We had some friends drive all the way down from West Virginia. Derek picked up on that and ended up playing John Denver's "County Road" which had everyone up singing and dancing. My guests even requested that song again as an encore before he left. The vibe was incredible! If you're considering live music for your party, don't hesitate book this musician.

I cannot recommend our wedding musician enough! I first heard Derek Stroker playing a gig at one of our local hangouts. I loved his vibe and the way he interacted with the crowd, so I checked out his website. That is where I heard some of his original music. I was blown away! I knew I had to have him play at our wedding. So I reached out with a special request that he play one of his original songs "Naturally Together". Derek was super accommodating and enthusiastic when going through the type of music we would like him to play. On the day of our wedding, he performed a heartfelt rendition of his original song that literally brought tears to our eyes. Derek Stroker helped transform our wedding into an unforgettable experience. We didn't want the night to end. I would highly recommend him for your event!

Review: Derek Stroker, Private Party October 2023
I normally don’t write reviews, but after the private party I gave recently, I was totally impressed with the musical entertainment for the evening, Derek Stroker. Derek filled the room, and my memories with great songs from the 60’s forward! He is a polished and professional musician, and one that can blend his unique talents into those unforgettable tunes he plays.
Sometimes I enjoy a solo performance, but they can become unidirectional at times. Not with Mr. Stroker’s show, he has an incredible ability to create sounds, using his tools, drums, bass, rhythm, beatbox etc. and layer all his live only sounds into an incredible version of one of your favorite songs!
Another thing I appreciated was his ability to entertain and adapt the music to those at the party, young or old. You truly see that he both loves the music, and even more importantly, loves playing his version for you.
I would highly recommend using Derek Stroker for any entertainment event, both personal or corporate. I know you and your guests will enjoy his performance!

Had my 10 year anniversary and closed on a new house! A friend of my wife recommended Derek ! Called him had a quick chat booked him on a private party ( solid rate good deal). He was on time very polite and well spoken young man! Very talented amazing voice had a great time dancing with my wife!
