We hired Derrick Allen for a holiday party held on New Years Eve. We have hired several entertainers in the past and I must say that Derrick was one of our most memorable performers.
He was very punctual and easy to work with from start to finish. Our employees were stunned by his close up magic. My favorite trick was when he borrowed a quarter from me, had me sign my initials on it and slammed the quarter into a sealed can of soda that was unopened or tampered with. He cut the can open and I reached in myself and pulled the quarter out after he emptied the liquid. How did he do that?!?!
His mentalism act was mind blowing. No pun intended.

From the second we started communication with him he put us at ease and answered all of our questions. He was also sharing ideas and giving his input as well which we appreciated.
We were looking for a magician to entertain our guests for a function that we had at our estate for several VIP people in the real estate market. Not only did Derrick deliver everything as promised, he went above and beyond. He made sure to treat each of our guests as if they were his own. I had several people approach me afterwards mentioning how great the entertainer was and how they were taken back by his ability to remember their names a couple hours later.
The magic was out of this world. I was expecting to be able to figure some things out but that didn't happen. He was also able to handle himself very well with the few that were a bit tipsy and tried to give him a hard time. I would not hesitate to bring Derrick back for our VIP Wine and Cheese events in the future. He did a combo package for us which included stroll around magic and a short mentalism act which words can't even begin to explain how amazing that was. His mentalism act alone was worth every penny.
