After listening to & interviewing several bands, we hired the Desert Brew Band for our son's wedding in Las Vegas, NV & are so happy we did. Not only did we get a fabulous band but also found a band who has a member that is a wedding consultant. This made our wedding so personal as they were so very attentive to our needs. They were able to choose the perfect music for a wedding & even added some special requests. Such great sound & vocals & fun personalities. They were able to bring young & old to the dance floor. The dance floor was packed all night & all of our guests complimented us on what a wonderful, fun time they had. A wedding takes so much planning & is a time when one hopes all will go perfectly. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of total enjoyment, where band and audience can interact, and be themselves!
We encourage everyone to participate in the fun so they can feel they know us. We are there to entertain, and be entertained by their enthusiasm to join in! We have special props, decor and lighting for holidays, and other occasions, and we are pleased to offer our help to event planners., and directors. Our music is what it is really about, and song choices will always suit the venue, as we try our best to please the crowd! For certain events, we have small prizes for dance contests, and participation. The crowds love it when we make them feel special, and we find it keeps the dance floor hopping! When everyone hates to see the party end, we know we have reached the goal we attempted to achieve.
Desert Brew Band has been together, performing since 2000 in the Phoenix and surrounding areas. There are 4 vocalists, with drums, bass,lead and rhythm guitars,& keyboards. Our ever-evolving music includes Rock, Country, Blues, and Oldies. We choose songs to fit the venue, with selections from the 50's,60's,70's,80's,90's to current! We select the ones that made the charts, so everyone can listen to a favorite from their day! We strive to cover a song the way it was done originally, and we pride ourselves on our vocals and harmonies. We can take you from the soulful mood of a slow dance, to a get up and rock out mode! Some of the artists we've drawn from, are, Elvis, Wilson Pickett, Eric Clapton, Billy Idol, Creedance Clearwater, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles,and Stevie Ray Vaughn. That's just rock and roll. We know plenty of country, from Patsy Cline, Alan Jackson, George Strait and many more. ( Line Dancers love us!)Because of the variety of songs we know, our music selections are always chosen to suit the group we are hired to play for. We enjoy our audiences, and ask for their participation. Our goal is to set a mood, where everyone feels the music, and responds to it. We are fully equipped to perform on stage, with our own sound supply, and pro equipment. We use props, special effect lighting, and we always like to check out the venue sometime before the performance.
That way we have no surprises, and we are well-prepared to provide the very best sound we can offer. So many times we have heard bands that throw everything together in a short time, and their sound reflects it! We show up early, load in the equipment & do sound checks, striving for the right sound for the audience.

We have learned that there are so many greats who influence our music, and we love them all! That is the very reason we strive to dig into the past, and cover tunes that made the charts in the Fifties. Then we will move into the Sixties to draw from that era of feel-good music. The seventies offer R&B, Funk, Disco, which we draw from also. The Eighties and Nineties have a special flavor, also, which we can't resist. We carefully choose the best of the era, as crowd pleasers. We have even gone into some of the current hits, tastefully! Did we mention country? We love it, too! We are always up for country events, and have plenty of songs to choose from, influences being: Patsy Cline, Alan Jackson, Dwight Yoakum, Darius Rucker, just to name a few!
The area in which we set up, must be large enough to accomodate 5 musicians and sound equipment for performing.
We like to allow a minimum two-hour setup time, to allow a proper soundcheck for the venue.
