Eloquence, elaborate , engaging and mesmerizing shows and presentation. Desideria dances from the heart with passion. Her shows are innovative ,family oriented, entertaining and a cultural experience. She performs with her own costume designs and authentic imported costumes, music and props. Isis Wings, Saidi Cane, Tray, Candelabra, Veils, Fans, Swords, Fire fans, Snakes. All shows start with elegant entrance and ends with audience participation/mini lessons. 15 -20 minutes (Belly Grams) to 45 -60 minutes(Weddings events).

Desideria is of European (Spaniard-Sicilian- Romanian) mixed. She is a highly acclaimed performer of multifaceted talent on the Eastern Belly dance scene. Known for her class and elegance, elaborate shows and array of classic ethnic styles. She performs regularly at upscale venues, Cultural events and corporate functions. As well as theater productions and monthly showcases in the NYC, NJ, CT and MASS areas. Desideria is also a Costume designer, choreographer and instructor. She has traveled, taught workshops and performed in the Caribbean and overseas( Venezuela, Mexico, Denmark Morroco). Not new to the dance industry, Desideria has been in dance since her youth. Desideria has been performing dance on stage, film and TV since her teens. And performing Spanish and Middle Eastern dances professionally since 1995. Desideria"has performed Solo, with two of her own dance groups and as a backup dancer/singer/musician with bands. Including , Joey Ramone(of the Ramones), Tracy Guns(of L.A Guns), and other local and national rock bands. Also latin band's.,. "Rif Astor" from NYC, "Carman Carrasco" from Argentina, "Raquel Lima samba band" from Brazil, and "Afro Andes" from Guatamala, As well as performed for celebrities, including Al "B' sure,and Alfonso Ribeiro at Le Stregue NYC and Demi Moore/Bruce Willis at the Blue Angel Theater NYC. * Desideria's shows are family oriented and very entertaining. She encourages audience participation and offers mini lessons for the ladies in the audience at the end of each performance. * Styles of dance : Desideria is dedicated to the instruction, presentation and promotion of the mystic Orient. From Egyptian Raqs Shaki ( Saidi, Assaya, Ghawazee, Beledi,. As well as Flamenco, Zambra Mora(Arabic/Spanish fusion),Romany and Russian Gypsy, Rajasthani(Indian belly dance). She also performs professional classic Burlesque and side show, cabaret , Dark Cabaret(Gothic Belly Dance) , fire and snake charming to her repertoire for more eclectic events.

* Costuming & Props: All Desideria's costumes are one of a kind and authentic, imported or self designed. Desideria has a very wide array of Classic Egyptian costumes as well as her own self designed stage wear. Egyptian/Lebanese Bedlahs, Beledi Dresses, Cholis, Sarees, gypsy skirts/outfits, bata de cola's, and Mantillas. She performers with many Props (Wings, cane, swords, veils, trays, candles, Feather & Lace fans, Fire Fans/stave's, shamadan, Zills, Zagats, Castanets, shawls, Dhoumbak, Tamborine, and even a snake if requested(over 18 years experience dancing with boas, pythons and king snakes).

I am available to perform "Belly grams" to elaborate "Vegas style" shows. I can travel anywhere in the US and Overseas. Payment can be negotiated to fit to your budget. Rates vary from basic to higher payment. Depending on the occasion, venue and time frame. Also location. Mini surprises (Belly Grams) can be for Birthday, office, retirement parties. Consist of 15 minute dancing 5 minute dancing with the guest of honor - $150

Private parties $175 to $250 -20-30 minutes
Events/Weddings $275 to $350 - 30-45 minutes
Holiday/festivals $350 to $500 30-45 minutes
Elaborate events- travel out of state gigs $750 to $1000 (one to two sets)

If I must travel to a out of state/international gig. Travel-hotel must be paid or deposit sent t ensure travel/hotel expenses. An advance deposit is required to insure travel expenses. And/or a hotel.

Please have correct lighting, Cd player or DJ available, Must have decent place to change and clean dry floors.
