Accompanied by only her guitar, Desiree’s combination of Americana style and soulful vocals, creates a unique musical experience for her listeners. Whether it is original songs, old school country or 90’s hip-hop, Desiree brings new life to the music that she plays, and sings in a way that has not been done before. Her creative ability to deconstruct a cover song allows her audience to experience the music as if it were for the very first time. With covers from Eminem to Patsy Cline, Ozzy Osbourne to Bruno Mars, Desiree will have you dancing in your chair one moment, and reaching for a tissue the very next.

The Los Angeles native, Desiree Jones, knew she was meant to play music from a young age. At 3 years old, she was using the violin her mother had gotten her, like it was a guitar. When she turned 10, her parents bought her an acoustic guitar and signed her up for lessons. During this time, Desiree began teaching herself to play by ear. She started playing in a band at 14, and by 16, she was singing, writing and performing her own music. When Desiree was only 19, she was playing open mic nights and shows all over Los Angeles, from neighborhood bars to the Viper Room, the House of Blues, and The Federal bar. After taking a hiatus from music to pursue other ventures, she is back and better than ever.
