Asked this guy for a quote to sing one song and he quoted me $500. I told him it was too much and he continuously spammed and harassed me. After hiring on gig salad continuously since 2014, I’ve never come across a more rude and generally unpleasant performer.

Here is a classic case of a "customer" abusing the review to hurt a business. Remind me of the woman with the dog in Central Park recently. She found someone who caught her in the "act" and decided to cry wolf. I will share the transcript of the first blow in the conversation and leave you to judge who was rude:
"Sorry, with an initial quote like that for one song, I wouldn’t work with you. Thanks. I book acts at least twice a year and have never once gotten an outlandish quote like this even for a band or a quartet."
"Desmond. I won’t hire you. Please stop begging for business. Go back to playing in the subway and leave this platform for people who have talent and are waiting to be paid fairly. This isn’t a platform for world class artists like yourself. Move on."
