Dex is a must hire for any event. Have attended many of his concerts as he plays great music and does a great job!

Dex has a great understanding of jazz vocabulary and the ins and outs of performing with other live jazz musicians. Whether it’s on the saxophone or bass, he’s always on top of listening and adapting to the musicians around him. Even on our first gig together, any obscure or complex piece I would call, he caught on to both the tune as well as my own play style very quickly. Definitely a high level player and a pro at helping the other players shine instead of focusing on showing off with flashy or overbearing playing!

To make things better, Dex is an incredible guy and a great hang! Extremely friendly and easy to get along with from the second you meet him!
