I do singing telegrams in the Dallas Fort Worth and North Texas areas. I can arrive as Crazy Bubba, a hillbilly lost in the city. I also have other characters such as a gorilla, a chicken, the grim reaper, and more.
I write a custom song for the occasion and deliver the message with a balloon sculpture (Usually a funny balloon hat, or some balloon flowers.)

I paid for 15 minutes and it was 1 minute and 40 seconds. Not a good singer at all. I should have been told that. For 1 minute and 40 seconds I would not have booked this. For me it was a huge rip off.

Sorry, singing telegrams are very short, not 15 minutes. Designed for businesses mostly where a fifteen-minute performance would not be a desirable outcome. The whole idea is to be funny and quick, not simply a good singer and a long drawn-out singing performance. This particular singing telegram was delivered at 6:30 AM when people were trying to get ready for work. I was a funny hillbilly character - never described as a great singer.
We were very pleased and the kids had a blast. Thank you, Checkers, for making our girl feel so special.

I showed up 15 minutes early and started 15 minutes early. I was told to do balloon twisting by his wife, he never bothered to meet with me. She directed me to do balloon twisting for about 50 kids (In one hour). No one ever said anything about magic. I would have rather done the magic than the balloon twisting. I didn't "Just blow up balloons" I did balloon twisting, using many shapes. In reality, he should have been charged more.
Checkers kept all 15 kids entertained for an hour. He kept control of the room and made the Birthday child feel extra special.

I expected some funny magic tricks which was totally missing. Just did some ballon twisting which was ideally secondary. I have seen other birthday magical shows this was not even close. Very disappointed and waste of money.

I am sorry you were disappointed with your balloon twisting and magic. I, "Checkers the Magician" was not available for your party and you opted for another performer who featured more balloon twisting than magic.
She reported that when she arrived there were only 2 to 3 kids at the party, so she started with the balloon twisting. Her magic show was geared for younger kids and maybe you were expecting the magic to be more flashy or intense for the adults. She reported that the kids seemed enjoyed the show, and the birthday girl even helped with the magic.
We try our best to please and entertain the guests, and have maintained a 5 star rating for many years.
