Hilarious, professional and down to earth, Diana Reyes exudes confidence whenever she hosts events. She is proud to represent as a Filipina-Canadian born and raised in Toronto, in a world where women of colour holding a mic is still a novelty. Her extensive experience, passion for public speaking, and killer wardrobe are only a few examples of what sets Diana Reyes apart from the rest!
I hired Di to be a DJ at a community event in 2023. She was able to cater the music to a political, Hip Hop crowd, playing a range of classics which really set the tone for the event. As the night moved on she transitioned to more dance friendly music which ignited the dance floor. Her background as a street and club dancer make her a secure bet for any event based in that culture.
Response from Diana Reyes:
Thanks, Rupert! You’re also an amazing event producer.
Diana is an excellent, enthusiastic, funny and caring host! I worked with her on a large-scale Public Art Project for the City of Toronto's Nuit Blanche, called An Occupation by lead artist and choreographer from Melbourne, AU, Amrita Hepi. This project invited people passing by to sing Karaoke songs about "work" and "jobs" with backup dancers for a total concert experience. Diana's personable and charismatic style was one of the highlights of the night and brought thousands of Torontonians together Downtown for what ended up being an epic project! I am always so excited to invite Diana as a host, artist, DJ, and dancer on projects. She is a truly one-of-a-kind artist! Book her!
Diana has been a fantastic host and DJ for our outdoor event series for two seasons, in Toronto and on tour. She comes prepared to rehearsals, and keeps the audience engaged with her amazing humour and music. We love Diana and cannot wait to work with her again!
Response from Diana Reyes:
Thank you so much, Sofi! Working with DD is the best - so professional and yet personable. Can't wait to work with y'all too if I should be so lucky.
Diana hosted the National Finals for Red Bull Dance Your Style at the Great Hall in Toronto and did a fantastic job. She was incredible from start to finish and really showcased her skills as a host throughout the whole night. If ever the crowds energy dipped she brought them back up and kept everyone engaged throughout a very long event!
