We provide upbeat, fun, dance-able 90s rock hits for any event! We play all of your favorites from the biggest 90s bands like Nirvana, Green Day, Blink 182, Stone Temple Pilots, and Third Eye Blind, as well as many more. Your audience will have fun listening and dancing to the best music of the 90's performed with the energy and excitement of the original acts! We strive to make our show entertaining from start to finish. We engage with the audience, get people dancing, and most of all, play the music the way it should be played!
For my wife's 40's birthday we through her a 90's themed costume party. We wanted to add live music and after seeing Dick The Citizen at a local club, we knew we had to have them! After talking with the band about options, we settled on an MTV Unplugged type performance. It was absolutely amazing!
Not only are they all incredible musicians, but a totally professional group of guys to work with. Not having to worry about the musical element of our party made dealing with all the other elements of the party (caterer, bar service, etc.) so much easier.
The music they performed was absolutely perfect. Everything from Gin Blossoms to Nirvana to Sublime to Blink 182 done perfectly and it all kept our friends dancing the entire time. Everybody raved about the band that night and we're continuing to get compliments!
I'm not fully willing to accept that the music I grew up with is now 'retro' but I am happy that Dick The Citizen is keeping this great era of music alive and I'm even happier that we had them as part of my wife's birthday celebration.

Expect to have fun listening and dancing to the best music of the 90's the way you remember it! We strive to make our show entertaining from start to finish. We like to joke around and have fun between songs, engage with the audience, get people dancing, and most of all, to play the music the way it should be played! We even sometimes have a special "surprise" guest join us on stage to sing songs by the band "Hole" (make sure to check out our video!).
Before and after the excitement and fun of our show, expect us to arrive on time, to set up and tear down quickly and professionally, and to be friendly and open to any suggestions. We always come fully prepared for any event (backup equipment, etc...). We are all professional musicians who have played hundreds of events, so we know how to adapt our show to the setting we are in. We are also able to perform our songs "MTV unplugged" style, so if you are having an event with volume considerations, we are more than happy to be super flexible.
