DJ Breakaway was used for an event at my job and not only was the price great, but he was kind, respectable and played the very best hits! He arrived early to prep his space too. He danced with the crowd and kept them engaged! Highly recommend! Will certainly have DJ Breakaway for my future events. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the trouble, choose him!

This is the second time DJ Breakaway has performed at the public library children's event and he always does a tremendous job. DJ Breakaway put the fun in our summer finale celebration and kept everything organized so we could stay on schedule. I highly recommend his services as he is professional, on time, friendly and knows the right songs to play according to the audience. We had DJ Breakaway as part of our Back to College event at IKEA Sunrise. He was that extra touch that got everyone engaged with our Back To College Lounge and grooving with the music. He made a point to give the college students a chance to express their school pride with shouts of their college or university names.
He also was great to work with and had good flexibility to work with the space available. He took into consideration the goal of the event and even made suggestions to improve upon what was planned. We look forward to partying with him again at our next event!

We hired DJ Breakaway for our school's 5th grade dance. He did an amazing job! The kids all loved him. He was very professional, showed up on time and was ready to go before the event even started. We will definitely hire him in the future for our events and highly recommend him to anyone needing a DJ.

It was the best experience from the beginning to the end. Ryan is very organized , he started putting the plan for my event way in advance with lots of recommendations and ideas. It was a huge help. The whole process was stress free because he was so organized. The event itself was fun even though I had to reorganize and Ryan had to move all the set up from inside to outside. DJ Breakaway (Ryan) was incredible. From the time he started till the end of the party there were always people dancing. Our group ran from people in their teen's to early 70's and was both Latin and gringo so he had his work cut out. His passion for what he does really comes through and he's just great at reading a room crowd. He was also very punctual, had a great sound system and communicated well through the whole process. DJ Breakaway was excellent. He provided the right type of music for this post graduation reception. He always kept us up to date and checked in with us frequently. The event went on an extra half hour and he was glad to stay to keep the music going. We would diffidently use him again for another school event.

DJ Breakaway has it All! I had the opportunity to work alongside DJ covering a couple of his events. From Bar/Bat Mitzvahs to beautiful weddings, DJ Breakaway has the ability to adapt to any sort of event.

The first event was a Bat Mitzvah. Breakaway MC’d this event and my biggest takeaway was that he was great with kids. He was able to keep the youth very entertained with the props and games he brought to the dance floor.

The wedding at the new Hialeah Botanical Garden was phenomenal. Despite the scorching South Florida sun, DJ Breakaway didn’t break! What a trooper. He delivered a soothing environment with the music he played upon the bride and grooms arrival. Upon arrival, the aesthetic cold sparks made this entrance extra special. When it was time to party, best believe the crowd went crazy!

I hired DJ Breakaway for my girlfriend’s 60th birthday. I found him through this website along with others that bid on the gig. As you can imagine, it’s always difficult to choose a professional without having first hand knowledge. After filtering through well over a dozen bids, I contacted DJ Breakaway. I didn’t have a particular playlist, just a disco theme. I told him to feel the vibe once the party started and take it from there. The attendees age ranged from the 20 to the late 60’s. Not one person was disappointed in DJ Breakaway. What a find! I would use again and again and highly recommend him.

DJ Breakaway was amazing. He helped me at a private event for just my wife and I. It was for our 1 year anniversary and he did a great job at playing the songs I asked and then mixing in great R&B vibes, salsa, reggaeton. He helped me pull it all off as a surprise! He arrived early with all gear in working order, and had some excellent and creative suggestions for set-up in our space. He had a great and wide-ranging music selection that got everyone dancing (even people I wouldn't have expected!), and was very gracious in accommodating musical requests. DJ Breakaway provided the music for a Christmas party I attended and it was a great time!! The group of people at this party was very diverse and DJ Breakaway seemingly had something for everyone. He wasn't just up there playing his version of how the night should sound. He really noticed what made people move and took the music in that direction. He was also extremely responsive to requests, and played additional tracks that really complemented what I like but that wouldn't have occurred to me or I didn't know existed! Highly recommend!

In our endless quest for "virtual events" hiring DJ Breakaway was a great choice. Ryan spun some great tunes during a one hour corporate "dance party" and kept us all motivated.
