I have two column speakers and an iPad for lyrics. My setup is wireless and streamlined, but I do have the ability to hook up to a TV with HDMI capabilities (that the client provides) so the audience can follow along with the singers. I don't have a physical book/catalog and I use Karafun for my songs with a QR code to access Karafun and to put songs in the queue. I will play music in between singers so there is rarely any "dead air" and we keep the line moving so everyone has a chance to sing. I may sing once to kick everything off and to test my system to make sure everything sounds as it should. I can sing more if the client would like, but I would prefer to sing as little as possible to give everyone the chance to sing.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view my page on GigSalad. My name is Jeremiah Crosby and I go by DJ JC. I have over 5 years of KJ experience and over 10 years as a professional musician and vocalist. I'm obsessed with karaoke and I love to sing and dance right along with my patrons as we enjoy good and "entertaining" performances. To me, karaoke is all about having fun and connecting with strangers through music.

A bit about me: I am a newlywed! I married the love of my life in Charleston, SC in May of 2022. I live in the Summerville area of Charleston, which is about 25 minutes from the downtown area of Charleston. I enjoy cooking (especially grilling food), going out to eat to try new restaurants and recently going to concerts and comedy shows.

I require access to a wall outlet for power and internet access for Karafun. If internet is not provided, things may run slower as we wait for songs to load from my hotspot. I will provide everything else including a bit of lighting to add a nice ambience to the event.
