A bit bummed that our DJ didn’t verbally engage with the crowd. I’ve seen some that communicated with the crowd a great deal, making things more exciting.

A dj's level of hype is based upon the need to spark the crowd or to add flare in times of a lull. This was an energetic crowd and did not require excessive hype. Aside from the formal's introductions, dances, etc. the dance floor was packed. I felt I interacted appropriately for the crowd and the venue.
DJ Mike was very flexible and catered to our specific needs, including providing a microphone so I could announce raffle prize winners every hour throughout the event. The venue did not provide alternate lighting aside from the chandelier so Mike took it upon himself to bring in his own and really made the event more dance friendly! Music selection was great and there were always guests dancing!

Mike was amazing, We are from Newport News Va. Married in Elizabeth City NC. Where Mike performed our ceremony music and our reception. Mike was referred by a family friend. We had a destination wedding for our daughter in the Outer Banks NC. I found Mike on Gig Salad.com. He was very professional and very helpful. Mike did a wonderful job helping us plan our wedding ceremony & reception. The music was exactly what we wanted. The ceremony was perfect. He made sure our guests were happy. I would highly reccomend Mike for any event you have.
Mike did such a great job DJing our wedding! He asked me what kinds of songs we'd like played and he played exactly what we wanted. He kept the party going and people dancing until very late. As a matter of fact, the party actually went later than we had planned and he continued to play for us and we were so thankful! He went above and beyond and we would highly, highly recommend him for any event that you're having!

I will send you worksheets to gather initial information about your event. I will lay out a timeline and music playlists, then we would meet to discuss the details and get your approval. The day of your event I would arrive early and set up equipment. There will be lots of communication during the event and the time line can be as fluid as needed to ensure your guests enjoy themselves.
