Michael, born in Surrey, BC, with a Portuguese and African-American background, is a young and upcoming DJ. He first fell in love with the idea of DJing at a young age after seeing his babysitter play around with a DJ software online. Additionally, Michael was influenced by his American father, who always played various dj mixes from DJs down south. Michael brings an American DJ sound to Canada (hip-hop and R&B) while incorporating afro-beats, dancehall, Latin, dance/electronic, and other genres into his repertoire.
