Booked Nate for an 80/90's themed karaoke party in Newport. Was an awesome event thanks to his outstanding skills and ability to cater to such a diverse group of people. Kept the party pumping, everyone singing and entertainment happening all night. Very professional and prompt communications as part of the booking and planning process and had absolutely no issues whatsoever when dealing with him. Can't speak highly enough about him and would 100% highly recommend him for any event you're planning in the future. Thanks for supporting NCC23 Nate.........outstanding night!!

My husband and I were celebrating a joint birthday with 80 guests. From the moment I contacted DJ Nate, he made everything easy. He took the initiative to review the layout of our venue, spoke and met with the event manager and, most importantly, carefully determined our music preferences. We gave him a list of dance songs we enjoy and he took off with the list and made it even better. Everyone was up and dancing all night long. Afterwards, our friends have continued to rave about the music and DJ Nate. He's simply the best!

We loved DJ Nate! We used him for our company retreat up in the Catskills and was very accommodating to our party's needs. He did karaoke for the first half and then dance music for the second half. I didn't even have to tell him what our music style was, he just knew and was able to pick up quickly on what we liked! Very very pleased with his service and we will definitely be using him again:)

We hired DJ Nate last minute for our one year old's birthday party. There were infants to 14 year old's and adults from their 30's-70's. Everyone had a great time! He played exactly what we wanted and even found our crazy birthday song. He occupied the kids and then got the adults up too! Would use again and recommend!

DJ Nate Slate was a phenomenal DJ. He was very approachable, humble, kept everybody on their feet at all times. He provided a variety of music, new and old, Spanish and English. Nate is Great. Nate did a fantastic job at my 50th Disco Party. He listened to my broad and eclectic request list, my do-not-play list, mixed seamlessly and kept the party going. I requested mostly Top 40 Pop Dance Tunes. He came with gear the worked in my (largish) living room dance floor with fun lighting (don't under estimate the importance of lighting) and stylish speaker stands. He accommodated my request to stay longer, and he arrived when expected to set up. I would definitely call him again.

The "DJ" showed up an hour before the event to set up and check his equipment to make sure everything was working properly. He appealed to the crowed. Playing great music for the children, interacting with the children as well. The best experience for me by far. I will definitely book him again. 🤗

Thank you! An hour before party time is a little later than usual. I usually arrive earlier to discuss any last minute requests or plans for the event. This party was fun. To stick with the minnie in paris theme, i dressed in the same color scheme, played minnie mouse and french tunes and greeted guests with "bonjour" while speaking in my best french accent!

DJ Nate Slate entertained about 2,500 visitors to STEMfest 2017 this May. The gig was in a public park from 10am to 4pm. The music had people dancing and celebrating. The crowd was still demanding more when it was time to leave.

About
I started in music as a listener to songs played by mom and grandma. Grandma loved Golden Oldies music from the 40s and 50s. My mom put on 60s, Motown, Funk, Disco and R&B. In my youth I popped casesetes in my walkman and blasted Hip Hop until the batteries died. I attended High School of Performing Arts and began to appreciate classical music, jazz, gospel and rock. My DJ interest began at age 14.
