With a deep love for diverse music genres, I've grown from a vinyl DJ to embracing today's digital platforms. Dance music was a constant in my childhood home, sparking an early passion. As I matured, I reveled in club scenes and now aim to captivate audiences with curated sets that ignite their passion for dancing. I strive for seamless track blending, introducing fresh and innovative sounds to my listeners.

L.A. Pagán is a Neo-Rican, born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and raised in the South Bronx during the 70s and 80s. Growing up, a diverse range of music genres including Disco, Salsa, Merengue, R&B, Funk, Pop, Rap, and New Wave filled his home. With a childhood friend introducing him to DJing during the freestyle era, Pagán's interest in the craft was sparked. What began as a hobby evolved into a passion, particularly during the pandemic when he honed his skills in live streaming shows on Twitch under the moniker NYC Mixtape. His mixtapes are available for listening on SoundCloud, and he is also available for hire for your upcoming events.

As a professional DJ, my versatile setup includes a laptop, controller, and DJ booth, allowing me to effortlessly move between events of all sizes. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a lively block party, my speaker setup is designed to adapt. I leverage the powerful OBS Studio, a top-notch live streaming software, on my Apple Macbook M1, complemented by high-quality soundboards from Yamaha and Behringer sound mixers. This setup enables me to deliver professional-grade streams on Twitch and also allows me to seamlessly connect with audiences on private events hosted on Zoom and Google Meet.
