Emerging from the Streets of CHICAGO, Dj Phats grew up listening to House music of Chicago’s Legendary Dj’s. While Dj Phats knew he had some work to do in order to become a Dj in Chicago, he decide to work on the production of house music. Phats decided to get the equipment needed in order for Dj Skip and Dj Phats to become relevant Duo in the Chicago House Music industry. Phats spent countless hours and months making Ghetto House with Dj Skip until a sound could be made that was his own distinguished sound. Phats debuted some tracks to Dj Gant-Man & Paul Johnson, from that moment the Infamous “Tracxxx 4 The Playaz” by Dj Fatman freshman Album was Released on Dance Mania Records with the “I Wanna Slut” track making its mark in Ghetto House, with this being the second album being released on PushPac®️ label. Phats started working on his Sophomore Album shortly after along with other Projects such as “The Motes featuring Dj Skip and Dj Phats”. Phats has spent much time working with Gant-Man, Dj Thadz, Dj Clent, Rp-Boo, Dj Slugo and a Host of others. Phats took to the Broadcasting Radio Industry by working for 106Jamz and V103, where would work with Artist such as Mary J Blige, Brandy, Ray J, and Jason Weaver. Phats would then continue his Journey to New York and spend time with Infamous Daddy-O to get more production mentoring-ship. But when it came to Production and Zoning in on his Dj’ing Skills he relied on Dj Slugo for the mentor-ship. Dj Slugo would show and groom Dj Phats in Turntable and Production skills of Chicago Ghetto House Music. Dj Phats worked with Dj Slugo on multiple projects. During this time Dj Phats worked at PolyGrams Records where he was responsible for Breaking albums of DMX Freshman Album, Kelly Price Freshman Album, and many more artists. Dj Phats then took a hiatus to focus on his family personal issues, but while taking a break the Music Bug never left him. So now Welcome the Return of Dj Phats.
