This is a wonderful man and DJ. I hired him for a neighborhood pool party and he knew exactly what to play to keep the neighbors having fun! Reading the room is the most important quality for a DJ and he definitely nailed it. He was extremely professional and kind, met for a meet n greet at our pool to get a feel for set up and go over everything in person, followed up often before the event date, got there early and everyone had a blast. He offered karaoke too, which some of the neighbors loved! I can't say enough good things about him. Hire this amazing DJ, you won't regret it!
Tony Lamar DJ Starr is the ultimate professional. He is totally invested in creating a fun and memorable event. As a host I appreciated that he was so accessible and happy to answer any questions or concerns I had along the way. He even drove an hour out of his way to meet and look at the venue. He was prompt and efficient. Very engaging with the guests. I would definitely hire him again!
We hired Tony for a 50th birthday celebration. He was easy to work with, and he kept us all dancing and enjoying ourselves.

Here's a little bit of background about me. I have entertained in New York, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia several decades ago and now I live here permanently in Charlotte North Carolina. Prior to our move to the Charlotte Metro area. I was a busy professional DJ Entertainer, since 1982 starting in Long Island NY, moved in 2002 to Washington DC I have been playing for more than 25years I have experienced working across all spectrums of the role as a DJ. Everything ranging from managing my own busy mobile disco road show, providing weddings services, private parties, family reunions picnics, performing at corporate events to enjoying many long-standing resident DJ gigs in nightclubs, bars, pubs and restaurants. I have music from the 40's to the present.
