DJ Wayvz is now my go-to DJ for kizomba. For my event, Essence of Dance, kizomba and zouk dancers share a floor, and my vision is for both communities to feel welcome with a 50/50 time ratio in terms of music. I shared this vision with DJ Wayvz, and he went above and beyond to help the vision come to life, collaborating with the other DJ for the room and playing music that both styles of dancers vibed to.

DJ WAYVZ is a whole experience! He DJ'd for my event in September and it took me days to recover from dancing the entire night! DJ Wayvz has been a DJ for my "Monday Night Kizomba" event for almost a year. His passion and desire to keep people moving and excited are second-to-none.
He's always eager to help get set up promptly and on time. Wayvz is always ready to go. This is something I can appreciate because sometimes things go wrong at my events. But if Wayvz is there, I know he will step up and help out.
As for music and skills- the man has a tremendous library of music. He always seems to play something that I never heard before while also surprising me with some old-school jams that an old man like me can appreciate.

About Me: Raised in a Caribbean family, DJ Wayvz found an early passion for music that would allow his natural vibrant energy and charisma to permeate through the crowds. Living in several states around the country he has grasped a wide variety of music genres and developed an ear for almost all cultures. His journey into DJ'ing began modestly, collecting CDs, making mixes, and downloading whatever he could get his hands on.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering determination to master his craft, DJ Wayvz immersed himself in the technical intricacies of DJing by studying, and training with world-class DJs. Tirelessly practicing the art of beatmatching, and mixing, he honed his skills with a precision and dedication that set him apart from his peers.
As his skills continued to evolve, DJ Wayvz decided in 2023 to cater to private events by also offering sound setup and basic audio engineering. From intimate club sets to sprawling festival stages, his ability to read the room and curate seamless sonic journeys always takes the event to the next level.
Beyond just being a DJ, he remains grounded in his commitment to his craft and his community and remains focused by making great events even better.
