DJ Wrecks is very easy to work with. He has a good format for outlining your event and what he needs to meet your expectations. Rex did a great job going out of his way to acquire all of the music we were interested in having played and paid attention to our special requests. He keeps in touch throughout the process to make sure he is prepared.
The wedding was a hit and Rex did an amazing job, he was on point with all of the announcing and music selection! I will be using him again in the future for any Dj needs
So, I had hired DJ Wrecks before for a school prom, and he killed it! That's why I hired him again for my wedding. (I know, prom and wedding are totally different).
However, DJ Wrecks was on top of it from the beginning. He was in communication with the venue weeks in advance about set up, and did everything we had asked of him. He was prepared with the old school jazzy tunes we wanted and brought the party stuff out later (once people started really drinking!) The emcee for the reception was almost a no-show, and Wrecks totally stepped it up to volunteer his services if need be (emcee showed up right then). Not only that, but there were aspects of the reception that were beyond my planning (my mother had some other stuff in mind too), and Wrecks was able to accommodate. He switched gears as was needed, and followed our needs although they weren't in line with the original plan we gave him. At some point, a relative really wanted to hear a Christmas song (I know, weird, right?) and he did that as well. Can't give enough props to this professional. Hire this dude.
Rex did an amazing job! He kept the party going, had a great mix and was sure to include all of our special requests.
Don't sleep on this fabulous DJ! We hired DJ Wrecks for my daughters 18th birthday party. He managed to keep all ages on the dance floor booging down! All I heard all night was..heeeyyy that's my Jam!! Would definitely hire him for the next event!!
Rex, is so awesome he did not just play music at our wedding he went beyond with helping us with our wedding intenary and communicating with the photographer and video person at all times. He had everyone dancing at all times and everyone loved the music he was playing. Great job Rex, God Blees you!
I am so beyond pleased with DJ Wrecks services. He went above and beyond to pull off a surprise for my cousin's birthday. Everyone was dancing all night literally from 6pm-3am. He accommodated everyone's taste in music and kept us on the floor non stop. Not only did he show up early and organized but he also did a great job setting up and bringing lights to keep the mood. He had the whole party in great spirits. The party was a success and I have DJ Wrecks to thank. I would highly recommend him if you want your party to be the best! We probably danced to every genre of music since we were such a mixed crowd from kids to young adults even the senior citizens rocked out and he was so cool about taking request. I have had a lot of parties in my day but I am 100% certain this by far was the best music and DJ I have worked with. Thanks so much for the awesome entertainment at my boyfriend's 30th bday party. You were able to setup before the guests arrived and got the party going. It turned from a luau party to a luau/club party. The guests couldn't stop dancing. Thanks again.
DJ Wrecks is amazing. He definitely came through with his promise. He was reassuring that everything will go well on our wedding and it did. Great music, knows how to read the crowd, and very flexible with his music. He's a great DJ to work with and he's definitely worth every penny. Money well spent and you won't regret it.
I was throwing a birthday party for my mom with about 50 guests and was worried if finding a DJ with different music genre's was gonna be an issue. When I talked to DJ Wrecks he said not to worry because he had all kinds of music for any occasion. He was very right about that. My mom requested ballroom and salsa which he played. The kids wanted top 40 which he played. And the 30 year olds wanted old school hip hop which he played. Overall he had the whole night rocking! He has very professional equipment as well. I am so happy I hired DJ Wrecks and can't wait to hire him again!!!!
Dj Wrecks did an amazing job at my 29th birthday party! He had all types of music from old school, salsa, hip hop and dance!! He had me and my peeps dancing all night!! He is extremely professional and I can't wait to hire him again!!!
I am a teacher at a local high school in Los Angeles, and we were throwing our prom when the DJ we had originally decided to work with began to act more and more unprofessionally as time went on. Thanks to gigsalad and DJ Wrecks, within a week we were able to have our prom (and ensure our playlists were ready as well!) DJ Wrecks was more than on time, provided all his own equipment, and wore a smile the ENTIRE time!
Sometimes teenagers can be fickle, and not all teens agree on the type of music that they want played, but Wrecks was able to navigate all that and make the party happen! The prom was on the fourth floor loft of a building in downtown LA, and the music was bumping! Often, while I stood outside, I heard a new song come on followed by a raucous cheer from all the students! This was happening all night long. The party was going so hard that people passing by on the street kept asking how to get into the club!
I did informal surveys that night towards the end, asking students about items like the food, the venue, the DJ, etc. DJ Wrecks was consistently rated at 9 or above (out of 10)! The DJ is such an important part of an event like Prom, and we are absolutely thankful to Wrecks for making this party happen! I highly recommend this guy to everyone. Beyond professional.
Planning a wedding can be so stressful. You want everything just perfect. For our special day we thankfully had Rex. What I liked about Rex is that he had the experience to handle everything down to the last detail (what announcements to make, a timeline for the evening, lighting choices, state of the art equipment, enough microphones, etc.) We met and reviewed his expansive music collection. He understood the "vibe" we wanted for our wedding. We did a group dance and a video/slide show and he put together the music montage for both with very little direction from us. He chose the absolutely perfect music for both. Our slide show is still such a treasured memory for us. He was very easy to work with and took the time to understood our vision for the event. He had our guests up and dancing! During such a stressful time his experience and professionalism made all the difference. Thank you DJ Wrecks!
