Welcome to the family!! You've decided to trust me to capture your timeless memories - thank you! Now we'll have an initial meeting to work out exactly what you're looking for in your session, choose a location, and set a date and time. I know your time is valuable, so worry not!! This conversation can happen either in-person or electronically (via text/phone/e-mail) if you don't have the time to get together.

2. making magic
It's time to capture some beautiful images!! We'll meet at our location and make some amazing memories for the duration of your session. Each session includes as many outfits, people, and locations you'd like to fit into your time slot. I'll guide you through posing and make you say some silly things so we get the absolute best and most beautiful smiles! :)

Don't forget: payment is due at the end of each session!

3. final touches
Time to take your photos from wow to WOW!! Each image from your session is reviewed with care, and the best of the best are chosen to be enhanced. Your final images are fully post-edited for color correction and tone enhancement. Minimal skin retouching is complementary to ensure each subject looks their best, but is never overdone. You will always still look like you!

4. delivery
Finally, what you've all been waiting for!! I provide 2-3 preview images digitally via e-mail as soon as they are ready, and you can expect your fully completed set of images to be mailed out on a USB flash drive within 4 weeks of your session. I pride myself on capturing timeless, everlasting memories. I can't wait for you to receive yours!!

Hey! My name is Dinah Lee, but everyone calls me Dinah. I’m a 25 year old Houston-based photographer. Welcome to my little corner of the web!

My interest in photography began (too) many years ago when I was still just a baby in high school. I picked up a family friend’s camera and started clicking, and was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I’d been entranced by art and design for as long as I can remember, but art in photographs was something entirely new to me. I ended up hi-jacking my mom’s best friend’s camera (bless her heart!) and began shooting little things for fun—knick-knacks, flowers, snails in the back yard, you name it.

After graduating high school, I received my first real camera as a graduation present (yay!) and started venturing into portraits. I took senior pictures for my friends for fun and practice, and even made (forced) my younger siblings to pose and model for me. Finally I decided this was something I could see myself doing professionally, and as my very first job in the summer of 2011, I began working for Lifetouch Portrait Studios. Studio work was so different and much more demanding than anything I’d ever done before, and I learned a lot. How do you get a two year old to sit down and smile for a picture?! I definitely had to find out, and quick! It was a learning process, but it was so incredibly fun and rewarding. I stayed with Lifetouch for three incredible years, learning under a wonderful manager (Amy Lynne) and honing my skills. In those years it was when I really learned that photography is my passion.I wish I had more eloquent words to explain it, but I really just love photography. The feeling of being able to create something so beautiful with such a small tool is entrancing.

After leaving Lifetouch in 2014, I’ve slowly built my freelance portfolio and started to open this little business of my own. I’ve dabbled in everything from senior portraits, families with children, landscapes, street photography in foreign countries, concert photography, and was even honored to shoot my first wedding for one of my best friends in October of 2015. If I had to choose a favorite type of session, I may lean a little towards children or infant shoots (they’re just so cute!) but if I’m being honest, I enjoy just having a camera in my hand, no matter what’s on the other side of the lens.
