I could not have been happier with Donald's performance. He is prompt and professional!

My mother had hired Donald to play at my own wedding a number of years ago. I went looking for a bagpiper to play at my father's wedding this summer and recognized Donald and hired him. He was extremely communicative and so easy to work with. His playing was absolutely beautiful and was a highlight of the recessional...showing up in full regalia in 95 degree weather inside a church that had no air conditioning! Thank you for your gift and for sharing it at a number of our family's special days!

Donald performed at a memorial service for my brother. Well before the event he wanted to know more about my brother and the family. As Donald stated "he wants to know who he is playing for" which I found to be so sincere, admirable and professional. He is a gifted and talented bagpiper that I could truly listen to all day! He is very friendly and took the time to talk with people in attendance, answer any questions, and accepted requests. I have received many comments from those in attendance of what a fantastic job Donald did, and his music is outstanding.

I would definitely book Donald for your next event! He went over the performance options with me to ensure my family was happy beforehand. Arrived early and his performance was elegant.

I had the privilege of having Mr. Ross perform at my Mother's funeral service.
Right from the beginning, Mr. Ross was professional and so compassionate regarding the service. He throughly explained and gave ideas/options of how the service could go and patiently answered any questions I had.
The day of the service Mr. Ross kept me updated on his eta as it was a 3hr drive for him. He arrived about 20mins before the beginning of the service. Mr. Ross looked *Amazing* and our Mother would definitely have been delighted with his attendance. Once again, Mr. Ross went over how his performance would begin and continue at the cemetery following. We had several family members in attendance from Ireland and they were just in awe at his performance and skill in playing the bagpipes.
Once we arrived at the cemetery, unfortunately it started to rain quite heavily. Ever the professional, Mr. Ross stood respectfully and continued to play throughout the graveside service.
I can't begin to express our gratitude to Mr. Ross for making our Mother's funeral service so memorable. Our family was truly Blessed to have Mr. Ross with us that day.
His skill as a professional bagpiper go beyond words and I would highly recommend him for your upcoming event.

Donald K Ross was excellent on St Patrick's Day for performing at the Irish bar that I run. He showed up promptly, communicated leading up to it to make sure all the details were correct. He sounded great and we had a great hour of listening to him!

I knew from our first conversation that I’d be hiring Donald to do our event. He’s extremely professional, I would say he’s way overqualified for any event as he is at a level way above other bagpipers. I loved that he offered three choices of outfits so we could match our Scottish son in law. It was a wonderful event mainly because he was part of it. His choice of music was perfect. I will recommend him to everyone I know. He’s just amazing!!!

Mr. Ross is the consummate professional. We had 2 telephone conversations prior to my parents' burial, and not only was Donald agreeable to whatever I suggested, he made several contributions to the planning of the ceremony based on his years of experience. Everyone who was present at the cemetery said that his playing "made" the event. Mr. Ross will forever be a part of our family's memory.

We were so happy to have Donald come to surprise my mother for her 80th birthday! She absolutely loved it! Donald was so personable and easy to work with! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants a bagpiper!

Donald coordinated in advance with a highland dance I hired for the birthday party. Despite meeting for the first time at the event, they presented a polished, well organized performance and made a great team. He was funny as well as informative, in addition to his spectacular piping.

Donald Ross helped lead our parade on the 4th of July. We received many positive responses from spectators in regards to his performance. Thank you Don!

Don Ross was the cherry on top of our Multicultural Fun Day!
He was prompt, flexible, and kind. The sound of the bagpipes filled our hallways during our event and the children were able to experience a style of music that was unfamiliar to them and Mr. Ross even played songs with the bagpipe that the children were able to recognize and sing along to. We will be booking again in the future!

My uncle's memorial service at Fort Custer Cemetary was everything I hoped it would be. My pro quartet of singers welcomed the participants with "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" as they approached the pavillion, sang two verses of the"Coast Guard Hymn" after the honor guard and flag folding. After a short prayer we sang an old family favorite, "I'll Fly Away" and Don played "Amazing Grace" as folks walked back to their cars.
It was a fitting tribute to my uncle and Don was the perfect ending to it.

Don did an outstanding job for my moms funeral service. It was the perfect way to say good by to our mom. Thank you for the amazing job!

1) he’s a fabulous musician.. to know how to do the Ohio state fight song- on bagpipes- was an excellent, unexpected treat..

2) he’s a fabulous person.. he didn’t just approach it like get in.. hurry up.. play a couple tunes and get out…. He took his time.. didn’t pressure us..
Went with the flow of the event..
It was a celebration of life event for my dad’s passing away.. don was empathetic and sympathetic..
He took the time (he asked questions) to understand who I am and what vibe I wanted for the event..
Great Piper.. but an even better human being!!
