Doreen Cogar and Bobby Emmons have been performing most of their lives. Having first met in the mid-70s, they began performing together in 2009.
Bobby Emmons has worked on the PBS Doo Wop specials, performing with top 10 recording artists, the Safaris and the Teddy Bears. He was a longtime member of the Mello Kings and his own group, The Crosstones. Bobby has also performed in concert, as bandleader, guitarist and background vocalist for Brian Hyland, Johnny Tillotson, Tommy Roe, Don & Juan and many others.
Doreen & Bobby perform the hits of the 50’s-80’s from great artists such as Connie Francis, Beach Boys, Beatles, Platters, Frankie Lymon, Elvis, Eagles, Patsy Cline and much more!
They are wonderful entertainers! They perform in different restaurants and they also perform at the assisted living community, where I oversee the activity department. The residents love them so much, and even asked for me to triple book them! They come in dressed for what ever theme you have going on, and they do their homework and try to shape their playlist to reflect the theme. Love you guys!!!
