Accordion Player for many genres: French, Italian, German, Mexican, American Jazz and Standards. Also love to play Holiday/Christmas music during the "season"! Featuring music on an electronic Roland V accordion, internal (and/or external) amplifier with digital sampler to play the sounds of various other instruments along with the accordion. I've been playing the accordion for over 40 years.
Doug was great. He did a wonderful job, and we highly recommend him. He was on time, courtiers and goof at his craft. .
Doug was an excellent addition to the Wooly Pig Oktoberfest this year. In addition to classic accordion tunes, he brought his musical sound effects to our stein holding and keg toss events. We're excited to book him for next year.
Doug is a beautiful human being! Prompt, sincere, and he fit the vibe of a small dinner perfectly. Not only did provide his playlist beforehand (and printed it with lyrics), but he improvised some numbers too. He's little serenade from a movie in the background, and I highly recommend his services! Thanks, Doug.
Was wonderful to work with and super friendly and responsive!
Everyone loved Doug’s accordion playing at our event! He was amazing to work with. Hope to use him again in the future.
Doug was awesome, engaging with guests and everyone loved him!
Doug the Accordion Guy was booked for a Germanfest-style dinner at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course hosted by the Northern Ohio Region Porsche Club of America. Doug was very professional and easy to communicate with. Doug's music added the finishing touch to our German-themed event and was thoroughly enjoyed by all 165 registrants after a long weekend at the track. The compliments keep rolling in and Doug will be at the top of the list for booking again, should this event become tradition for our club.
Doug arrived arrived set up and was playing as our guest arrived. He came 100% prepared. He made sure his volume was perfectly set for guest to enjoy his fantastic playing and still have conversations. He was humble, kind, and made our evening cocktail party all the more magical. I would highly recommend Doug and I hope we can hire him in the future — I think some of our guest are already trying to snag him for their own. Thank you again, Doug! (Also wish we had a higher quality pic to share )
Doug was an absolute joy to work with and did an amazing job entertaining our guests at my mother’s surprise 75th birthday party. He wowed us with his talent and was very accommodating and flexible with some last-minute changes. Doug is one who shares his talents from the heart, and it shines through in his performance and character. If you’re looking for an accordion player, look no more, Doug is your man!
Doug played our parish 50th International Festival and we could not have enjoyed him more! He was entertaining and admired by everyone old to young! The music was on point for our event and he had more enthusiasm than most of the kids! Would recommend highly and will book again!
Price Range: $75/hour
I always try to dress the part when playing international genres. Whether it wearing a Gondolier's outfit during an Italian theme, or lederhosen for an Oktoberfest, i want to make the performance as authentic as possible.
I love playing the accordion and bringing the proper "ambience" to the audience. Whether that is playing Italian dinner music at an Italian Restaurant, or French Music at an outdoor cafe, German polkas at a festival, or Mexican music at a Cantina, or good American Jazz - my goal is to transform the venue with the atmosphere of the music. I will wear the appropriate dress and costume to accompany the mood of the music). I also love to play at Senior Homes and Centers and hopefully bring joy to those who want to hear and even sign along to the music . I play an electronic Roland V accordion with internal (or external amplifier as needed). I can produce many different sounds and types of various musical instruments on this accordion to ensure the best authentic sounding music!
