Throwing a party can be challenging, as many turn out to be so mundane—-same old stuff. I decided to add a twist to mine by hiring Doug to perform his magic. What an over-the-top fabulous evening! Doug kept the guests entertained and mystified (how did he do that?). The guests are still talking about what a fun and magical evening it was!

We had hired Doug in the past and really liked his magic but we didn’t have the pure entertainment budget to bring him back unless we could tap into our workforce development budget. Doug was the entertainment for our whiskey tasting fundraiser and he killed it. He started out the night 'anonymously' executing tricks on guests during the cocktail hour which created a lot of laughs. Later, he performed a long set that was a big hit--coins, watches, cans, and hats kept disappearing. And the way this guys is with a deck of cards will blow your mind. . . and make you afraid to ever play in another poker game. He's fun, friendly, approachable and one hell of a magician. Highly recommended.

Insurance: $1,000,000 - Performers and entertainers insurance covers claims of third-party damages or injuries that arise from your operations during a performance or accidents that occur while you’re entertaining. For example, you may accidentally scuff up the flooring of the venue you’re performing in with your big clown shoes. You could also drive a hole in the wall with one of your instruments while setting up for your gig. General liability can protect you from bodily injury and property damage claims from your audience, customers, and venues. Plus, most venues or events will require proof of liability insurance and that you add them as additional insureds to your policy in case something goes awry during your set.
What to Expect
Expect...the unexpected. Sort of. While Douglas Frazier's act will surprise you and your guests his preparation is highly scripted. Having performed thousands of shows Douglas knows that a different audience is a different magical experience. Before sending a quote he wants to talk you and understand all about what and why you need his expertise. He can then present a show that will be one your loved ones and/or employees will remember for ever. Plan for the best so he can deliver his best!

Influences & Inspiration
Douglas is a magician but understands that art exists to help tell story. He has achieved a level of evolution with magic where if someone approaches him after a show and says "great tricks" his efforts have fallen short of his expectation and more importantly what his audience deserves. Douglas believes people, himself included, need to experience a sense of the unknowable as much as possible to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. This is what he strive for - the real magic of life.
Setup Requirements
I bring all my equipment. If I am a part of a larger ensemble I can work with your audio and lighting team in advance to create a seamless production experience.
