Jayne played at my Mom's mass of remembrance. She was wonderful to work with and gave me the support I needed to have the event be meaningful. Her voice is like an angel and the harp was so soothing. We can not thank her enough!
Response from Dove Tale Music ~ Jayne Demakos, harp & voice:
Dear Kathy, It was an honor to be a part of your Memorial Mass for you mother. Kindest regards, jayne
Jayne is easy to work with, and plays beautifully. Thanks for making my wedding great.
Response from Dove Tale Music ~ Jayne Demakos, harp & voice:
Dear Nicole and Thomas, your wedding was so lovely and touching. It was a privilege to be a part of your celebration. Congratulations and many blessings to you. Jayne
PS. Thank you for the kind review
The harp music really gave my wedding a special romantic vibe.
Response from Dove Tale Music ~ Jayne Demakos, harp & voice:
Thank you, Emi.
Want to tell you that you were a most stunning bride! Wishing you both the best.
Jayne played during our wedding ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful. My husband is from Northern Ireland, so we were looking for something a bit different that would reflect his heritage. Jayne was instrumental in choosing our music and helping us to realize our vision. Not only was her playing extraordinary, but she was extremely profession and a joy to work with. I can't count how many people approached us after the wedding to tell us how amazing the ceremony music was. I have no hesitations in highly recommending her and have already passed on her name to other friends that are getting married!
Jayne Demakos performed the music at a wedding for which I was the officiant. This calls for someone who is skilled at tuning into not only the specific requests of the couple, but to the subtle shifts and nuances of holding a large group in a certain "feeling of anticipation and harmony". Jayne did this in such an easy manner, and her music was absolutely beautiful! You would be wise to call her to be part of your event!
Joyful and sweet, Jayne’s music transported us to a realm of pure magic. It seemed to flow straight from her heart to ours, touching us gently and inviting us to open to the beauty of the world and to the sacredness of the moment. Thank you, Jayne!

I have known Jayne for 25 years from many different forums. I have mostly known her as a piano teacher and a performer. She played harp, sang and helped lead a ritual for my 13 year old daughter. We were very blessed by her presence there. Her voice and harp playing brought an energy to the event that would not have been the same without her. She is extremely skilled in creating an environment of peace, calm and beauty. Jayne is very committed about all she does. We were blessed to have her there.
I have seen Jayne Demakos perform many times in a variety of venues--from weddings to concert halls. She always brings beauty, sensitivity, and professionalism. Highly recommended.
Janye Demakos has graced us with her precense for both MUSIC FOR A SEASON/ MUSIC FOR A REASON, as well as joining the "ANSWER THE MUSE" cabaret series at Delilah's in Ithaca.
On both occasions, what Jayne brings to the stage is more than music---it is heart. Being in the audience, you feel the intimacy of being in her living room. Her sensitivity in material....as well as the mastery of her instruments (harp...vocals....piano) take the listener to a journey of the soul.
She also knows how to pull an audience in...creating audience participation that is both unexpected and rich....be it singing/chanting along with her, or reading poetry while she plays the harp...you can always expect the unexpected.
The other very special thing about Jayne is that as a performer, she is both emotionally totally accessable, as well as incredibly humble...sometimes deferring applause, and rather asking the audience to just take the moment to absorb the music. What greater sign of owning the true spirit of music can there be.
It is with great honor that I consider her a friend and a collaborative musician....she brings such great peace and beauty with her on any occasion.
Sincerely
Ceili Murphy
