Dr. DuBose and his Half 'Live instrumental band features solo guitar and computerized backing tracks of small ensemble arrangements of pop, jazz, blues, smooth jazz, classical and contemporary songs that most everyone recognizes and enjoys. From updated, jazzed classics in classical works, like Ave Maria, Dr. DuBose has an eclectic repertoire of instrumental songs that feature swinging soloists, and lyrical melodic lines. He has performed at outdoor weddings, company events, and private networking receptions. Dr.DuBose has been performing around New England, and also abroad, for over 20 years, and looks forward to many more special occasions.

Audiences can expect to hear music with memorable melodies and backing track arrangements that won't displace their conversation, and will encourage getting to know others in their midst. They can expect to be uplifted, and better able to drop any sense of burden that they may have brought with them, as well.
I will add a classy touch to most any kind of special event, including weddings, business receptions, gallery or restaurant events or evenings. I carry professional sound equipment, including PA, speakers and speaker stands, and play both nylon acoustic as well as electric guitars. I usually take a microphone and mic. stand to enable introductions, and announcements. I am versatile and flexible in planning any special event. I have been playing over 40 years, and studied music and violin since I was 12. I can sight read music and have been performing steadily, both solo and with a cover band, most every month this past year, with bookings already set up through 2013, locally.
I need a stable electrical outlet to plug in all my gear, to perform.
