Exciting news! DTX Dandiya, the premier nationally acclaimed Garba/Raas competition hosted by the University of Texas at Dallas, is back for its 5th year. We aim to create an unforgettable cultural arts experience for our performers, audience, and sponsors. Our goal is to help keep the spirit of our culture alive through dance and allow hundreds of desi students from around the country to make connections that last a lifetime . We bring together modern aspects of dance and storytelling while retaining the traditional foundation of the Raas dance form. The props, costumes, music and overall atmosphere brings about the distinctive qualities of the dance performances at DTX Dandiya.
