Dublin Down

Had the pleasure of Dublin Down playing for a surprise birthday party. They were professionals and sounded great, even taking requests. Highly encourage folks to book them for their next event.

Dublin Down was a terrific addition to our family get-together. They were very flexible when rain forced our party indoors, and were able to make everything work in our living room. They played for 90 minutes and had everyone singing along and enjoying themselves. They had asked for any requests in advance, and when our list of songs included one they didn't typically perform, they learned it in time for the event. They were also very kid-friendly and performed a few songs specifically to get the kids involved. Highly recommend.

Dublin Down was great to work with. They were very punctual and provided a perfect variety of music for our party. They were professional but fun and very talented! We loved having them and would definitely hire them again!!!

They were amazing! Very sweet people and very talented. Everyone at the event mentioned how great they were and asked if they were my friends because the music fit the event perfectly (never met them in person until the day of the event). Several of the people are in bands themselves and complemented me in my choice. I would highly recommend them for your next event. You can't go wrong choosing them!

Monica and Patrick played at our home 2 consecutive evenings in a rather cool garage where it was hard to keep their instruments in tune! It was an Irish theme but they asked for some of our favorites in advance and included them in the song set. We liked how they provided some context on the Irish tunes - a bit of history and some story telling. Their harmonies are nice and mellow, and they also took some requests. They were low maintenance and high entertainment value!

Monica and Patrick were the perfect performers for my brother's 70th birthday celebration. Not only are they talented musicians and singers, they know a huge variety of music and are enthusiastic and flexible, open to many requests. They put just enough of an original spin on old and new favorites alike to make each familiar song seem like their own. I highly recommend Dublin Down for any type of event and won't hesitate to book them again. They helped make my brother's birthday truly memorable!

Everyone who was present really enjoyed the music provided by Patrick & Monica. The song selection they sang was great, familiar and new. The musicianship was great and they worked very well with what the venue needed. It was a fun time had by all!

Do yourself a favor and hire Dublin Down for your next event! We hired them for two days, and we were so glad that we did!

Dublin Down is by far the greatest band around! Monica and Patrick are insanely talented musicians and we, along with our family and friends, thoroughly enjoyed their performance! We hired them for two days for my husband’s 40th Irish Birthday. When covid hit, I had to cancel the large party and decided to split it into two smaller outdoor gatherings. I’m so glad we did it that way because we got to enjoy Dublin Down twice! Aside from their amazing vocals and performance, Monica and Patrick were very accommodating and easy to work with. They were super down to earth, prompt and great communicators! My only regret was that I didn’t hire them for the rest of the week, because we need more Dublin Down! I'd like to start with a three word review: Book Dublin Down.

We hired them to play a family party with about twenty-five guests. They delivered an energetic performance that made the gathering feel bigger than it was.

Leading up to the event they were professional to deal with and eager to hear our suggestions. We requested a couple of songs ahead of time and they took the time to learn them and then played them beautifully at our party. They arrived early to set up and were ready to go at the time we scheduled.

It was fun to hear their covers of songs by James Taylor, The Beatles, and David Bowie just to name a few. It was equally enjoyable to hear some of the Irish and Celtic songs that we weren't as familiar with. Patrick and Monica are both talented singers and multi-instrumentalists who play with obvious joy and that created a fun atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

They helped create a memorable event and our guests commented on how special it was for Dublin Down to share the afternoon with us. They were great!

We asked Dublin Down to perform at my mother’s 75th birthday and I cannot say enough what a Wonderful show they put on for her - and us!
They were easy to coordinate with prior to the event, punctual in arrival and made a good time the Best time!!! My mother said it was her favorite birthday ever and the music was enjoyed by everyone. In fact, they are actually still raving over what a fantastic job this charming duo did. Thank you so much for making it the special day it was!!!
