I wanted to say this. Thank you for coming to EMU and talking to the undergraduate students! This meant a lot to me and meant a lot to the students. I appreciate the opportunity you gave me to speak to the students. I found the information that was conveyed extremely helpful and found it very interesting. Your speech inspired me to get started on the book I have been putting off and embrace the failure that may come with it. I learned that perfectionism is a source of motivation to not fail. With your speech, I feel more confident in my abilities to pause and zoom out and think about my real life and how whatever I am doing will serve me, and how it will impact me. I did learn how important it is to have core values as well. All in All, I learned a lot from you. I greatly appreciate that you are doing great things and are genuinely willing and humble to help students improve not only academically but also help students improve their lives in areas of much impact.

I also wanted to appreciate the fact that you were highly relatable in terms of sharing personal experiences with the audience and sharing how these experiences have shaped whom you become but also how the experiences you have serve as a key motivation for helping others become the best version of themselves and become the best version of leadership that we need in our society. I enjoyed learning more about you and your experiences and also about where we go from here and the steps we can take every day to create, measure, and improve our own lives and the lives of others. It was a great pleasure hearing your story and your experiences. I appreciate your time and commitment to doing the work that you do and making a difference in students but also faculty. I will want to have you speak again in the future and let colleagues in about you!
