If you are a fan of Hard Rock - Alternative Rock from way back to now.....you'll hear a selection of songs that you only get to listen on your MP3 player or at home or in your car because most "Popular" cover bands cover the "Popular" tunes that every other band also covers. There is rarely overlap with our material, believe me...we're students of the "Game" and we check out live bands regularly, target our material ......and we play the tunes correctly.
We are loyal (patrons) to the venues that have booked us, we bring a thirsty and hungry crowd, whether we're playing that night or not. We always seem to have members from other bands we know (and some we don't) come check us and we include always welcome a new friend on stage to be a part of the show whenever "the spirit moves them".
We honestly have a great time, because we're doing exactly what we wish we could hear when we've been a part of the crowd, and we see the results during each show.

DZL Chicago is a hard rock cover band based in Naperville. Our mission is to bring a rocking good time to the suburbs of Chicago. We have an arsenal of high-energy, hard rock tunes to get people moving and grooving.

We strive to provide the WOW factor by providing a selection of material that most bands in our genre can't / won't attempt due to the quality and integrity of the music. Our repertoire includes Stone Temple Pilots, Ozzy, Green Day, Nirvana, U2, Foo Fighters, The Smithereens, Blink 182, Lenny Kravitz, Weezer, Thin Lizzy, Audioslave, Godsmack, Goo Goo Dolls, Royal Blood, Alice in Chains, Bush, Lit, Van Halen, Social Distortion, Velvet Revolver, Blur, Ted Nugent, Jimmy Eat World, Grand Funk Railroad, HIM, Collective Soul, Motorhead, Tom Petty, Elton John, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and more. And new tunes are being added all the time.

- Multiple Instrumentalists & Vocalists, 2-3 part harmonies, and high energy. Each member has extensive cover, tribute and original band experience, some including national and international experience.

- Professional contract execution.

- 32 Channel mixer for controlled sound and volume (with no feedback), with backup equipment (on-site) to every show including mixer, guitars, amps, mics etc.., so no "short changing" the variety of entertainment to the customer venue over equipment malfunctions.

- Multiple sized amps, acoustic and electronic drum kits to fit the venue size and/or decibel level restrictions.

- We are always rotating / adding material and encourage recommendations for customer/venue or occasion specific material to supplement current material.

- We are available for opening or multiple band slots (single set 50 - 75 min), full 3-hours shows, and private events Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.

At least one weeks notice for Full slamming (150 min) shows....with our own crowd in tow and at least 2 weeks for any day of the week (we all have day jobs).
