Concerts consist of several songs performed with fully orchestrated background tracks, many of which are Ed's original compositions along with several current Christian songs. In the middle of the program, Ed typically performs three or four numbers at the piano which allows for a much more intimate setting...just the piano and his vocal.
In churches with video projection capability, the program will include some moving powerpoint and video presentations along with stage lighting.

From the inspirational "Ground Zero," which was written right after 9/11 and received national exposure on the Don Imus show, to the moving and often convicting "Where's The Change?" which will have fellow Christians searching their pockets and their hearts, Pettersen will both entertain and intrigue the listener with his infectious hooks.

Involved in Christian music since the age of seventeen, Pettersen has always wanted to write and produce a solo project. The Mission isn't only the title of the album, it's the embodiment of what this effort has meant to him as it has come together.
"I really wanted to inspire the listener to look at themselves and the world around them in a whole new way with this album" says Ed, "I pray that there's something in this collection to inspire everyone who listens."

The goal is now to expand his music ministry by performing in churches in Virginia and throughout the surrounding states.

Ed is currently working on music for his next recording project "Songs From Apartment 316".
