The band was on time, professional, full of energy and made our wedding reception a total blast.
They were able to accommodate multiple moods as the party unfolded from mellow to dancey and responded to my requests in real time. Mike provided extra assistance with all of mic/speaker needs, helped with MC duties, and was extremely easy to coordinate with beforehand. The bandmates had great energy and I received several compliments about them from guests.
I'm so lucky I found Eastern Cut Jazz - they were essential!

Eastern Cut did an amazing job performing for my wedding this past New Year's Eve. They played before and during the ceremony as well as during cocktail hour. They worked on original arrangements for specific songs we requested for our ceremony and performed them all better than I could have imagined. Having live music for cocktail hour really added the touch of elegance I was looking for. Working with these gentlemen was a breeze. They made sure they had everything planned accordingly and checked in with me multiple times before the wedding. 5 Stars and thank you guys again!

My friend hosted a house party and I was blown away by this trio! They showed up early, wearing suits and were so friendly and excited to play. They took the time to learn a couple of our special song requests before the party and during the party were playing our favorites as many times as we liked! They were polite and energetic and I would highly recommend Eastern Cut to anyone hoping to add some great live music to their function.

Trio Jazz band able to play events of 4+ hours with regular breaks. Eastern Cut can perform entirely acoustic or with amplified instruments for larger venues. The perform straight ahead jazz, fusion, funk, Latin Jazz and bossa among many other styles. Eastern Cut prides themselves on their professionalism, personality and quality of performance.
Eastern Cut is a fresh jazz/funk/fusion trio out of Boston, Ma. Michael Doyle (Alto-Sax) is a Berklee College of Music alumni. Mason Andruskiewicz (Drums) is a seasoned player gigging with multiple bands around Boston. Joel Chavarria (bass) is a University of Miami music program alumni and all around groovin' bassist on both electric and upright. We are always working to polish our performance to bring the highest level of music to our events.
For events larger than 200 people, a PA system with at least 4 microphone inputs and mics, and a 1/4" input will be required to amplify the bands instruments.
