Echo Beach Jazz Band

We prepare our performance to your requirements in terms of number of musicians, song selections, background or foreground music, and setup space. For example if you prefer mostly jazz standards to be played we will come in with a bassist and perhaps a drummer and focus on the sound of a "classic" jazz quartet. Or, if you prefer a more ethereal atmosphere we'll probably perform as a duo with guitar, percussion, backing tracks and electronics.

Founded by Blair as a tropical jazz percussion ensemble, 1991.
John joined in 2002. Recorded our first CD. Changed to jazz quartet in 2003.
Changed to duo with guest musicians in 2022.
Core members are John LoGiudici, guitar and Blair Helsing, percussion. Both musicians use electronics in performance. Both musicians have performed in groups for decades.

For the duo we typically set up in a space that's 12' by 15' or so.
For a quartet we typically set up in a space that's 20' by 20' or so.
We bring lighting when needed.
We bring our own power supply when needed, otherwise only one power outlet is required.
