We will personalize our show to best suit YOUR occasion and give you an event to remember!
Ed and Carol did a wonderful house concert here in Florence, OR in July 2017. Attendees loved their combination of original and cover music. Several people had glowing comments at the intermission and when they left, so I hope Ed and Carol will be able to return for another concert soon.
Response from Ed and Carol Nicodemi :
We were thrilled at the response of the audience; some actually expressed tears of joy and looked for those songs that moved them most when they stopped by our merch table:) It couldn't have gone better; we can't wait to do our next house concert!

We are a New York City folk-jazzy duo of vocal and guitar. We do covers and write our own songs, and are always available for bookings. Born and raised in the Bronx and Brooklyn, we met on the lawn outside of the Music Building in Queens College, started to jam... and have been playing music together ever since! We love sharing what we do:)
When we told people that we were going to create a duo based on 7-string Guitar , Classical Guitar, New Age Piano and Female Jazz Vocals, they thought we were crazy! But it’s been working! The Barnes and Noble Event in NY was a huge success, with CD sales and a wonderful live audience. Our recent House Concert at the home of Kathy Parsons, piano reviewer, in Oregon was fantastic, with audience members in tears with the emotion our music brought to them. CD's were sold, and we were asked to return. The combination of classy, well-chosen standards and original material has blended together to give us our unique sound, a little jazzy, a little samba, remnants of folk, classical/new-age/ambient- all under one umbrella. And, as veteran music teachers, parents and grandparents...we also created a terrific original Children's Cd, "It Goes This Way", available online and placed in more than 100 Public Libraries nationwide!
Ed’s new-age piano/film-score music has been heard on Dateline, NBC and The Today Show. Jazz piano great Kenny Barron has recorded one of Ed’s original tunes, “Trouble in Paradise.” Kathy Parsons, a well-known reviewer of Solo Piano Publications, has given “Parallel Solitudes” a 5-Star rating. His piano piece, "Toy Piano", can be heard in the movie “Fully Loaded.”
I’ve honed my jazz singing with Lennie Tristano, Jackie Paris, Marian Cowings ,Judy Niemack and Barry Harris. Our duo has been the hit of numerous parties and events. Our original songs are based on people or events that are meaningful to us, and we select our cover song material with the same connection in mind. Our CD’s are available on CD Baby and we are always available for live performances and venues.
Sound should be as natural as possible, lighting the same. Staging would depend on the type of show. For a children's performance, we tend to seat the children in a semi-circle, for maximum participation and movement, with caregivers either next to them or close nearby. Generally a stage is not necessary, to foster the interaction with the children, unless the venue is larger, such as a school auditorium.
For the adults, again, it depends on the intimacy of the venue. A small club would require a different level of lighting, staging and sound from , for example, an outdoor farmer's market or large stadium.
