We have an extensive palette of music that we like to listen to and because of that we have gained a versatility in songs we can perform. From mariachi to The Great American Song book or even songs that are requested for a special occasion we can learn. We can perform as a duo or if a bigger sound is needed we work closely with other musicians that are always ready to work. We have been building a catalogue of original music and covers during our time in LA and we know we have songs that can fit any occasion.

Hailing from Nogales, Arizona, singer-songwriter and bassist, Christopher Burr, who goes by El Alburr, and guitarist/arranger/producer Angel Duran take a dynamic and instinctive approach to their music. Their upbringing exposed them to various genres of music: from mariachi to hip-hop, they have drawn inspiration from a wide range of influences. The thrill of creating and releasing music captivated then and as they dove into music head on, they found themselves pushing artistic boundaries and expressing themselves authentically. But there are other factors that drew them towards music, too. The two want their music to resonate with a diverse audience, with the connection between emotion and sound, and the ability to express both through music, inspiring them to devote their life to his craft.

Their journey and artistry is only just the beginning. They have worked as freelance musicians in Los Angeles, learning the intricacies of the music industry and building a foundation for future success. While it was mariachi music that inspired their move from their hometown, they became enthralled with the idea of fusing a variety of genres into their own music.

I can provide my own sound if needed. All I ask is for a decent location where I can connect my mics and sound board/gear.
