As an experienced stage performer, I can provide a variety of concert/soiree programs for different events from as small as your living room to large public function settings such as weddings, birthdays, fundraisings, funerals and many more. I can sing in different languages, like English, Italian, French, German, Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Spanish, etc.
Elena provided stunning vocals for my wedding and truly made the day magical. She was incredibly helpful in song selection as well as coordination with the other musicians. I would highly recommend her for any and all projects that need an angelic soprano voice and a very professional/kind/competent musician!
I got so lucky with Elena! She is the best singer ever, hands down. Elena sang at our wedding and, without exaggeration, she gave me and our guests goosebumps she was so talented. Aside from her angelic voice that filled the church, she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about music. She was put in a position to take 30 minutes to practice with our organist and quartet before the ceremony, and she just figured it all out. Everyone loved working with her, from my planner to the other musicians to me! Thank you, Elena for being an absolute gem to work with and for making our wedding ceremony so special!!!

I will provide beautiful singing in an elegant sophisticated ambience for people with elevated taste in music, but also for people who just enjoy music. I have songs that could attract every heart. From light and cheerful to profound and emotional songs. Even for those who do not like classical music, they will be touched hearing me singing live.
Elena Negruţă is the winner of The American Prize in Vocal Performance for Women in Opera of 2023. She is originally from the Republic of Moldova, where she began singing as a folk artist. At 14, she won first place at the Golden Stork international youth talent festival in Nikolayev, Ukraine. She studied at the Academy of Music, Theater, and Arts in Chişinău, Moldova, where she earned the only folk music scholarship in the country, winning many other national competitions. When she immigrated to the US, she profoundly fell in love with opera and started to study operatic singing when she received a full scholarship to pursue her studies as a Masters in Vocal Performance from the UIUC School of Music. Here at the U of I she discovered not only her artistic abilities as a singer, but also her natural acting skills when she was cast in her first role of Lucy Brown in the Threepeny Opera by Kurt Weill, being praised in The News Gazette for her “effective and appealing singing” which helped create “one of the most dramatic high points” in the show. After finishing her master’s degree, her vocal technique evolved, giving her the flexibility to sing multiple repertoires beginning with baroque (Henry Purcell) to more contemporary operatic music (Menotti, Andre Previn, Igor Stravinsky). She also sang as the soprano soloist in various Masses and cantatas by Mozart, Haydn, and Schubert, including Handel’s Messiah with the Baroque Artists of Champaign Urbana and other choirs and ensembles, including the Music Institute Choral in Evanston, Illinois. In Summer 2021 she premiered in the role of the Wicked Witch in the Kingdom of Dreams musical. Recently she was honored with selection to perform live in Savannah, Georgia at the American Traditions Vocal Collection competition. She accepted nomination to serve as president of the Tuesday Morning Musical Club of the 2022-23 season. She continues honing her acting skills, recently performing in the play “Stoplight” at the Station Theater in Urbana.
Depending on the situation, but if there's a room with good acoustics, there's no need for sound enhancement. The lights and staging could be arranged depending on what the organizers are preferring.
