Ron, Lizzie and everyone with them were wonderful to work with! We couldn’t have chosen a better band for our formal event. These guys are the real deal! So classy and so, so talented. I would make this choice for our wedding reception a million times over. They really cared about what we wanted and went to great lengths to get every name correct when making announcements. We will remember these guys for our future events and have and will tell anyone with ears to do the same!!!
Thanks so much!

Response from Elizabeth Hayes Jazz Review:
We had a wonderful time. We look forward to being able to perform for you, your family and guests.
The band was terrific. Our guests loved the music, and the band members were very professional, switching locales at the last moment, due to inclement weather, and accommodating their hosts in every conceivable way. Thank you so much!

This band definitely exceeded my expectations! They were so easy to work with and were so timely on everything. They met with us online via Skype to discuss options and any requirements we had for our wedding. Beyond their organization, they sounded fantastic and played any request we had. I recommend them to anyone!

Thank for great set up and, tear down and performance! We received many positive remarks from our guests. They were easy to communicate with before the event and during the event. Thank you for making my evening easier as the event coordinator. Thank you!

The band arrived on time for set up just as planned . Very professional in reviewing the order of events and planning accordingly. Lovely music and vocals plus recorded music later in the evening . Highly recommended.
The band did a nice job and we had a great party. My only complaint was I didn’t think communication before the event was good.

We had a wonderful time and look forward to our next opportunity to perform.
In my opinion, Elizabeth Haynes Quartet is a very good example of a very unprofessional group.
Hours before my event I was asked if they could bring a baby , absolutely not . I was assured this was not a problem and they would be here as scheduled.
Elizabeth Haynes did arrive with the baby 30 minutes before my event. I did not want the liability and asked her to leave. This was an adult event in a private home. Please note she had been told no In advance. Again, my opinion is that their behavior was extremely unprofessional.
At the request of Ron the band remained ( guest are arriving) and I was assured by Ron that half of the $ 1534.00 that I paid to have a female vocalist at my event would be refunded. Two weeks later and my Phones calls are being ignored. And a Refund has not been made.
I did not receive what I paid for, I was put in a terrible situation with no time to make other arrangements. And in addition to all of this, when the musicians set up, the bass player put deep scratches in my marble floor!
My opinion is to STAY AWAY from this group!

Response from Elizabeth Hayes Jazz Review:
We are professional performers, not human furniture. Every gig we booked for the past year has been with the understanding that Lizi, our marvelous vocalist, was having a baby and that until the baby is a year old, she would be coming with her mother. This has yet to be a problem. Grandma comes too, and little Emily is quite happy to listen to her mommy sing, or play off stage in our break room.
This month grandma became ill and was hospitalized, unable to come along on the gig. Instead, Lizi’s husband came with us to look after the baby, and also help with set up. We called the customer to tell her of the change, and she became very upset, saying we never mentioned a baby. This became a very heated and disturbed conversation. The customer said she had understood that grandmother would take care of the baby. (This detail showed us that we HAD told them about the baby before booking the gig.) However, since this conversation was less than an hour before we had to leave, we left as planned, believing we could work out a solution enroute.
Upon arrival, the customers refused to listen and told vocalist Lizi, baby Emily and husband to leave. The house was enormous, and it was highly unlikely that anyone would have been disturbed by a baby in a car in the driveway, or in the guestroom in the house for that matter. Lizi left, and the gate into the premises was locked- barring her reentry.
We still had a male vocalist, and the guests were all impressed by the talent of our trio. The customers were not lacking for entertainment for their evening. We agreed to refund the amount that our vocalist would be paid, and the customers agreed. Unfortunately, they seemed to think that was half the gig price. This entire uproar was self-inflicted by this client. We excel in customer communication.
We bend over backwards to make sure that our customers are happy. Having our clients satisfied is only a starting point.

We had a wonderful time at the fundraiser. It is awesome to perform during an event that is for such a worthy cause. All the staff were very helpful and attentive.
We are still getting glowing comments from our quests on the music for the wedding reception. We knew we wanted Lizzie and the band when we heard them at my nieces wedding 6 months prior. Truly the highlight of the reception. Love love love.

Beautiful location and wonderful day.
Thank you for your kind words and for choosing us to be part of this big day.
This group was so friendly, professional, and prompt with planning the event and setting up, and their set created the perfect ambiance for our fundraiser. Gorgeous vocals and instrumentals. Thank you!

Elizabeth Hayes is outstanding! Her voice and delivery are fabulous. Similar in style to Norah Jones but a hundred times better in my opinion.

We had a wonderful time celebrating with the family and rembering the music of Reta Murphy!
I was in charge of planning the entertainment and decorations for our company holiday party this year. We went with a speakeasy theme in the 20s style to celebrate the anniversary of the end of Prohibition. The Elizabeth Hayes Jazz Review was the perfect band to set the mood, and Elizabeth's voice is stunning. Employees didn't want to leave that night and all the feedback has been simply amazing. I would have liked a little more communication between booking the event here and the time of performance, but everything went off without a hitch. Thanks for making me look great in front of the big bosses. I would book you guys again in a heartbeat!

Rex ---- Reeds/Keys/Flutes/Production
Rex has an impressive resume, including a degree from Berklee College of Music, and several European tours over the past two decades. Here at home in Ohio, he has years of experience as a professional musician- and a day job teaching private lessons. As a musician, he is proficient on multiple instruments, including tenor sax, alto sax, bari sax, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, piano, guitar and recorders.
Lizz --- Vocals/Keys/Guitar
Mizz Lizz has been singing since infancy, and she has been performing as a professional for the past four (4) years. Her vocal style has been compared to Linda Eder, Karen Carpenter, Etta James and Linda Ronstadt. Her voice is fresh, clear, appealing and was metaphorized by one fan as "oxygen over velvet." She currently attends Central State University, and is the lead vocalist for the Jazz Band. She is also a nationally recognized young artist, and her vocal abilities are evenly matched by her talent with charcoal and paper. She is certainly a beautiful, young woman with a bright future!
Here is a composite review on Liz
Performance left my jaw slack.
I first heard Elizabeth sing six years ago. The very first songs left me speechless. I still get chills from time to time as I listen to her sing. Over the years I have observed many astute listeners have the Lizi moment as they realize that the sounds that they are hearing are live and that it is that attractive young woman that is making those beautiful sounds.
Her voice has been spoken of as being clear as a bell, wrapping the listener in a warm cozy blanket.
