I am a Berklee-trained singer/songwriter performing in the Greater Boston area. I specialize in vocal performance and self-accompany on guitar, ukulele, and piano, playing both cover and original music. I also perform with a band, Confidential Teatime.
While I am available to play bars, festivals, parties, and other lively events, I particularly enjoy providing intimate performances at events like wedding ceremonies, anniversaries, vow renewals, reunions, or any event that lets me feel like part of the family for the day, where I can provide music for the moments you want to remember.
Elle was the perfect musician for an outdoor birthday party for my wife! Everyone loved her voice and both the guitar/ukelele she brought. Her set list was so fun - perfect for the backyard birthday party. She was also great at coordinating beforehand with a tailored set list, came early to set up, and brought a microphone and amp for when the party got loud. I highly recommend her for any special event you have coming up!
Elle played the music for our outside, waterfront wedding in Maine. We were looking for something authentic and memorable, and Elle delivered that and more! She played the ukulele and sang, learning some specific songs that we requested for our wedding that were meaningful to us. The ukulele sound was perfect for the outdoor wedding - it was light and airy, and let her voice shine as well. The singing was beautiful, strong and flowed perfectly well with our outdoor setting. It was one of the highlights to hear her as we started walking down the hill. She also slipped back to the mic as we wrapped up our ceremony and started playing as we greeted guests. It was the perfect end to a beautiful ceremony. Thank you to Elle for the special memories she provided!

I play original music and covers and can take requests with enough advanced notice. I can play guitar, piano, or ukulele while I sing; or just instrumental if that's preferred. Normally a calm vibe - can be background music or more of a feature.
Elle Zee (Lyzz Zinn) is a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music, and Accepted Graduate Student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Music Therapy at Lesley University. Daughter of a professional pianist and music lover, music, quite literally, runs through her veins. Classically trained in piano and violin from age three, Elle Zee is also self-taught in guitar and ukulele, and has been studying voice for five years. Elle values her artistic skill for its ability to transform and inspire both herself and others. She believes everyone has a story to tell and is dedicated to helping others explore their stories musically, whether through teaching, performing, or therapeutic intervention.
Elle currently teaches voice, piano, ukulele, guitar, songwriting, and music theory in the Greater Boston Area. She meets students where they are, regardless of age or musical experience. She fosters musical skill based on a student's goals in a fun and nurturing environment, with musical engagement and creativity at the forefront of her mind.
Elle’s passion for songwriting began as a coping strategy and a means for finding her voice, which eventually enabled her to develop an inner strength, powerful motivation, and poignant self-expression. This led to the creation of her One-Woman Show, Escape, an autobiographical monologue replete with original music and poetry, co-directed by Ana Guigui. This show details aspects of Elle’s survival, recovery and transformation from domestic violence and substance abuse, and highlights the importance of music to this journey. Her performances have been sponsored by Right Turn Live, Center for Creative Recovery, HarborCOV, and The City of Chelsea, MA. She performed this show most recently at Chelsea City Hall for an audience of 100+, including Massachusetts State Senators, police officers, and other survivors of domestic violence. Nancy Slamet, Family Engagement Manager at HarborCOV, testifies, “Escape is a powerful first-hand account of the complex nature of domestic violence and the journey to freedom & healing…as we hoped, her play stimulated much needed reflection, learning and conversation.”
Elle Zee has been seen performing at multiple New England weddings, Sober in the Sun Music Festival, Now Listen Here!’s storyteller series, Right Turn Live!, The Point, Club Bohemia, The BeBop Music Lounge, Out of The Blue Gallery, JP Open Studios and other venues in the Greater Boston Area. She is co-founder of Mass Artists for Change, and performing member of The Blue Rose. She is also a published poet, creator and host of Berklee's Wellness Podcast, Life Aid, and weekly trivia host and competitor.
Elle Zee seeks to continue exploring and cultivating her skill sets in order to inspire and empower others in the way that music has inspired and empowered her.
I'm pretty versatile and flexible - most helpful is normally a PA system/amp, microphone stand, keyboard/piano. I can also provide my own if necessary.
