I hired John Jensen for my Sister's 60th Surprise Birthday Party. John and his wife, Karen, were wonderful!!! They totally made me feel at ease when figuring out the details. The performance was "out of this world". John stayed and took pictures after the show much to the delight of my guests! Every single guest commented on how "real" he sounded and the ladies all wanted to take him home. If anyone needs to hire an Elvis Impersonator I would recommend John Jensen. I saw this show in April and then saw the 60's show in September. AWESOME!!! There were five of us that attended both shows. This man can WOW you. He is a really nice guy. You will have an amazing time. The audience loves him. He interacts with the audience. Trust me...don't miss his shows. Thanks to his wife as well.
He was at our family members birthday party, even though she is deaf she had the greatest time in her life, he was really good I recorded the whole performance on video so she could watch it anytime she wanted. An entertainer since childhood. He never stopped performing, he bought his first guitar at age 14 and he has been in love with music ever since. John performed with bands as well. In 2001 he started doing the Elvis act as a result of singing to himself while setting-up for a guitar gig with a Doo Wop group. The owner of the Majestic Theater heard John singing All Shook up and booked him to perform as Elvis (with The Memories 8 piece group as a back-up band) for 3 nights at The Majestic Theater in W. Springfield Mass., the rest is history! John has been an Elvis performer for13 years. Thanks to all my fans, you made it possible.
I have aquired the highest quality professional backing tracks from England and each features real musicians performing all the parts minus Elvis. This creates a better experience for the audience. I also use Bose high quality sound equipment and usually have a soundperson to allow me to concentrate on the performance. The costumes I use are hand-made by the same company Elvis used to have his costumes made. They are the highest quality and exact duplicates of the originals. John entertains with the same carisma and energy as Elvis, that is what made Elvis so entertaining. John's natural singing voice is nearly identical to Elvis so Ihe can sing with full power and use all his energy to entertain. Elvis has been an influence in my life since the first television program I watched with my mom as a young child. My first favorite song was Hound Dog. I have had many other influences in my musical career but Elvis is still "The King" to me. I have gained a greater respect for his life and musical career after being a tribute artist and getting a professional perspective into the carisma and musical talent Elvis possessed.
